We need EVERYONE in the school, the community and at home to help bring kids up rather than tear them down! show them what success feel like and they will strive for it every time.
When thinking about schools try to keep this lyric from John Mayer in mind "This is the place where everything's better and everything's safe"

- What happened?
- Was my reaction appropriate? Yes/No. In what way?
- Was my conduct in keeping with the ethical standards of my profession (care, respect, trust and integrity)?
Was my conduct in keeping with the standard of commitment to students.

Occasional Teacher Tip#6: Be social at schools! Don't be afraid to eat in the staff room! You are just as much part of the school community as the other staff. #OTTips
As Teachers it is our job, and duty to ensure the students who walk into our rooms each day are being welcomed, included, and taught to the best of our abilities, and differentiating instruction so they can learn to the best of theirs.
Occasional Teaching Tip #5: Self-reflection is a great tool to use when teaching! journal what worked and what didn't and try new things with new classes!
