राष्ट्रीय ऊँट अनुसंधान केन्द्र, बीकानेर में केंद्र निदेशक डॉ. अनिल जी पूनिया साहब के साथ भूमि पुनर्स्थापन (Land Restoration) के एक महत्वपूर्ण एवं नवाचारपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट पर सार्थक चर्चा करने का अवसर मिला।
बढ़ते मरुस्थलीकरण, भूमि क्षरण एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन की चुनौतियों के बीच वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण, स्थानीय ज्ञान और सामुदायिक सहभागिता के समन्वय से भूमि को पुनर्जीवित करने की संभावनाओं पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ।
मेरा दृढ़ विश्वास है कि भूमि पुनर्स्थापन केवल पर्यावरण संरक्षण का विषय नहीं, बल्कि भविष्य की खाद्य सुरक्षा, जैव विविधता संरक्षण और सतत विकास का आधार है।

डॉ. पूनिया जी के मार्गदर्शन एवं विचारों से इस दिशा में नई ऊर्जा और प्रेरणा प्राप्त हुई।

Restoration of 207 acres of rangeland in the heart of the Thar Desert, Rajasthan, India.

Through the #FamilialForestry approach, we are restoring the landscape as a whole—reviving native grasses, enhancing wildlife habitats, rebuilding ecological relationships, and promoting #HolisticHabitatHealing at the community level.

What was once degraded land is steadily transforming into a thriving mosaic of life, reflecting the teachings of Jasnath Ji in action and demonstrating that desert ecosystems do not need to be greened—they need to be healed.

हरित प्रणाम अब सामान्य अभिवादन के साथ -साथ शादियों में भी निमंत्रण पत्र का हिस्सा बनने लगा है । बीकानेर की पूगल तहसील के गाँव भगतसिंह पुरा के निवासी श्रीमान श्रीराम जी बिजारणीया के सुपुत्र की शादी का आज़ निमंत्रण पत्र प्राप्त हुआ । यह देखकर अच्छा लगा कि निमंत्रण पत्र की शुरुआत हरित प्रणाम और मत्स्य पुराण के पेड़ों से संबंधित प्रसिद्ध श्लोक से की गई है । उम्मीद करता हूँ कि शादी में प्लास्टिक के प्रयोग से भी बचा जाएगा क्योंकि हरित प्रणाम सार्थक तो तभी होगा । बहरहाल, इस कार्ड को देखकर मुझे नज थ्योरी का ध्यान आ गया जिसके मायने ये हैं कि सकारात्मक बदलाव इस तरह भी रास्ता बनाता है हाँ यह धीरे -धीरे और बिना विशेष शोर शराबे के स्वरूप लेता है । 💚#हरित_प्रणाम

Today, on World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, we planted and distributed native saplings in the Thar Desert under our #FamilialForestry initiative.

Every native sapling is more than a tree—it is future shade, habitat, resilience, and hope.

Land restoration is not the art of planting trees. It is the science of rebuilding relationships.

Relationships between soil and water.
Between grasslands and wildlife.
Between people and the landscapes that sustain them.

A desert is not created by lack of rain alone; it is created when extraction becomes our habit.

The opposite of desertification is not afforestation. It is regeneration.

The attached photographs are from our land restoration site in the #TharDesert of #India, where we are working to heal a degraded mining landscape through the #HolisticHabitatHealing approach under the #FamilialForestry concept. What was once a scar on the land is gradually becoming habitat again.

On World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, and in the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, let us remember:

The future will not be secured by what we take from the land, but by what we help the land become.

श्री विक्रम पुनिया निवासी घड़साना को हमारी देव जसनाथ पारिवारिक वानिकी जन पौधशाला , डाबला तालाब से एक ट्रॉली पौधे रूंख प्रसाद स्वरूप भेंट किए । सहजन, कंकेडी, रोहिड़ा, गुंदी, खेजड़ी के पौधे और देसज घास की पौध डाबला तालाब से करीब 125 किमी दूर घड़साना के खेतों और घरों में हरित सदस्यों के रूप में रोपित होकर जसनाथ जी - जाँभो जी के पर्यावरणीय संदेश को आगे बढ़ाएँगी यही हमारी इस मुहिम की सफलता है जो डाबला तालाब को पर्यावरण तीर्थ के मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ा रही है जिसकी ख़ुशबू अब दूर -दूर तक पहुँच रही है । भाई विक्रम जी का आभार और प्रिय हंसराज को शाबाशी । सादर

राष्ट्रीय उष्ट्र अनुसंधान केंद्र बीकानेर द्वारा आयोजित कार्यशाला में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में शामिल हुआ। “वृक्षारोपण बनाम पारिस्थितिकी बहाली : वास्तव में प्रकृति की असल जरूरत क्या है “ विषय पर अपनी बात रखी और डाबला तालाब में जारी हमारी इकोसिस्टम रेस्टोरेशन गतिविधियों के आधार पर यह समझाया कि इकोसिस्टम रेस्टोरेशन कैसे किया जा सकता है । संस्थान के निदेशक आदरणीय डॉ अनिल जी पूनिया साहब और समस्त स्टाफ का हार्दिक आभार । इस अवसर पर हमारे महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य आदरणीय डॉ राजेन्द्र जी पुरोहित सर का सानिध्य भी मिला । #WorldEnvironmentDay #FamilialForestry
