@FreeStyleDiabet research has shown that the amount of fat and protein are key in correct insulin dosing. Sadly at the moment the app does not easily allow this information to be included. I imagine this would be a very simple fix. Can we expect to see this soon?
@PaulGarvey4 Is this a false dichotomy?
Does choosing something entail that there is *not* a reason??
Rather, would it not make more sense to expect if something is chosen that there is a reason behind it.
For example, I need help, the only way I can flag this up is misbehaving. /?
@HelpATeacher This all seems very pedantic, but I saw the meme several times and thought it was very clever and then it suddenly hit me and found it quite interesting.
@HelpATeacher Arguably they are using the fact that a<b+c, supposing a is the hypotenuse, whereas Pythagoras states that a^2=b^2+c^2. While you can derive the former from the latter, it is unlikely that is what students are doing so arguably they are using geometry but not Pythagoras.
@mrsd_maths With my physics hat on I almost want to call them superposition formulae as you are determining the form of adding two trigonometric functions with different frequency.
No idea if that is useful or not?
@KJF239 This is such a cool and inspiring idea! I can definitely see it making going through a test a lot more worthwhile educational experience for a lot of students.
@NMedina5@BillyMiller314@Trianglemancsd I guess it depends what u mean by βthisβ. Quite often we might see things like, βhow many triangles can you see?β. Also, is something that is coloured in different colours a triangle? What about different materials? It seems a triangle could be drawn round the outside of the pic?
