Why did I open the Morrisons thread? A small gesture to thank public sector workers and it is all what about us? Then having a go at teachers as if it was us who made the decision. Morrisons did a good thing and they get dogs abuse.

Job ads that say they want a teacher who has worked in an "outstanding school" or teachers who say "I worked in an outstanding school" to make a point. Maybe it's my lack of faith in OFSTED or the fact I see absolutely no connection with teacher quality, but I don’t get this.

It’s disgraceful - 4 English teams playing in 2 major finals this week and they aren’t being shown on free to air tv. How can we hope to inspire the next generation of athletes when they can’t watch top level sport unless they can afford the right subscription #inspireageneration

It’s tempting to see them like 3D printers, churning out people. The reality is most schools do what they can in the 5 or 6 years they have them. Most move mountains to help them to be more civil, more clever, more mature, more able.
