@RogersHistory Powerful. It’s easy to get too comfortable somewhere where everyone roots for your ideals. Knowing a different side exists is powerful - especially if you can eventually learn to respect each other.

@RogersHistory I used to teach year 6 for the longest time. There were points where I’d just say “This lesson is going to suck so let’s just crack on and do our best.” - they always preferred that kind of honesty.

@Dexerto Review bombing has really helped a lot of games break from terrible corporate practices. Helldivers 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 come to mind immediately. Without a platform for customers to vent dissatisfaction easily, nothing is ever done.

THREAD: Some schools have great behaviour. But I’m interested in how you IMPROVE behaviour. I’ve only ever worked in turnaround situations, and these are the specific whole school policies I’ve seen work. In order of effectiveness:

@TeachingChap I’ve taught year 6 for years. Behaviour can get a bit manic - depending on the cohort - in the last term. But most things, even the stress of SATs isn’t a bother.
