If your child is good enough to play up an age group or two, I recommend it. Focus on their growth & development, not outside opinions which will come from the each set of players & parents from the age group you left to the others you move to.

So amazing to attend my first NHS LEAD Conference. 12 of the 2,500 students there were from our school here in Costa Rica. While being in DC during this weekend's craziness, I was comforted by seeing first-hand that the kids are alright.

The MYTH of the so-called “elite” young athlete claims that children must join these “elite teams” early to succeed, ignoring the value of play &development. Many kids aren’t ready for “elite environments” at a young age,but they can/will thrive later by focusing on fun&learning!
