And the secretary as we walked by. (For clarity- they joked with the kids about being rewarded for bad behavior. But was it a joke? I struggle with that sometimes). I think if their ADHD and stressed brains weren’t going to learn, they might as well have a break. Your thoughts?

It’s Friday. The kids have had plays, games, projects, and tests up the wazoo for the past two weeks. They were not focusing today for English. So I told them to lock in for 5 minutes, then we could go play in the gym. Which they did.

Thank you all for your well wishes.
Two weeks ago, my younger cousin died after a long fight with a chronic illness & other genetic anomalies. It was very sudden, and there was a lot to do to in the aftermath to help my aunt and uncle through their grief.
