Prove those coaches right who believe in you, prove those coaches wrong who don't, and continue to prove to yourself every day that you belong.
9/01 is here, but it's a big day because it's the next day. The work continues!
Another problem trend in lacrosse…at the current rate, we’ll have more “national” teams than Rec teams in the next couple years.
My advice to anyone that thinks they want to start a club program or national team:
Start a rec league and do 50 free clinics first.
@shawnmowry@CoachChilds4@RyanFlanagan24 It’s a long journey but the smart ones are figuring it out. CNU has enjoyed great success due to players the big guys passed up. Others are catching on quickly. If the hot bed clubs have figured it out the DI teams are not far behind.
Ryan Flanagan of @team91carolina has NAILED IT!! Our program had 17 poached this year. You work your tail off to develop kids only to see snake oil salesmen whisk them away when your work proves out. Actively poaching kids is character flaw.
We’re very fortunate that this doesn’t impact us much but…
One of the softest things going on in club lacrosse is these teams from hotbed areas picking off kids from non-hotbeds to play for them.
If you’re in MD, DC, NY, etc. and you can’t develop the local guys… Work harder.
BZ to Owen Fasulka ‘21 Hawk impressing at the World Games. Owen was singled out by @insidelacrosse as one of the 15 college players to watch this year based on his performance. https://t.co/ITWHhAF6Wk
