@Footballtweet £35m at the time was perfectly fine. He was a good prospect but not playing at the level he is now. Likelihood is that the needed the move and the shift in position at Forest to grow into the player he is now.

@PercyArmsDisco No, I hear you, especially after the bold 2030 statement. I think some of the Gordon stuff also is the club making up for not being able to acknowledge Isak's tenure because of how that ended. Whilst Gordon has been a good servant to the club I don't think many are sad he's gone
@PercyArmsDisco I think until we are consistently in Champions League then it's how we have to sell the club to future transfers. Look at the players that turned us down last season before we ended up with Wissa, we don't have the pull for elite players yet so what's the next best we can offer?
@SleeperFootNews I'm happy for him and the club. When at his best he was unplayable and gave us some brilliant moments. He also went missing a lot last season (along with many others mind) so it's the right time to leave. We get a good fee which we'll, hopefully, reinvest and he gets a big move
@NUFC360 They had three weeks to prepare for a game against a team distracted by Europe and managed to serve up that shite. Game management was hideous
@MagpieMediaX It's hard to get excited about these types of transfers as realistically it's probably 3/4 years before he gets near the first team if at all.
Two honking performances from England. There'll be a few who might have played their way out of the squad after those games. They'll not get out of the group if they play like that. What a total waste of a weekend of football
