[MTG] 4-4 at RC Prague, and 4-4 at the Open with Mono G Landfall. The deck was good, but some crucial mistakes led to too many losses. Many good learning points for the weekend!
Shoutout to @JRiedener for the late night decklist chat until we arrived at this.
I won the Modern Double-Up playing @MahfuzVanGogh’s list. Dredge is back and stronger than ever (at least compared to the last couple of years). I’m looking forward to exploring the deck even more as soon as I’m home from RC Prague.

While Nicole unfortunately missed qualification for the RC, she managed to win an ELMQ with her take on Artifacts Prison.
As she posted in the Legacy chat some time ago: “I’m a certified Legacy hater.”
So she decided that her opponents shouldn’t be allowed to have fun either.
Team Basic Land Go sent six players to #RCPrague. We had a great weekend with many valuable learnings. We’ll continue to improve and come back even stronger for Ghent.
On On my way to #RCPrague. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to visit all these tournaments and see the world through Magic. It’s always amazing to meet all the incredible people I’ve gotten to know through Magic. If someone had told me this 5 years ago, I would never have believed it. And honestly, I’m still far from fully realizing what’s happening right now.
I think that when I look back on this in a few years, I’ll be able to say that I’m proud of myself.
Thanks to everyone who supports me on my journey — you guys are awesome ♥️

Phillipe decided to play his pet Deck at the Rcq. It was a good Choice, after a 0-3 he was able to get to his real Pet at Home, quicker then everyone else.
Nicole had a tight game one against Affinity, which led to a 2-1 win after good card choices through Rumbles, Stirrings and scrys. Going forward, I’ll tweak the sideboard a little, but overall the deck performed as it should! My inexperience cost me the important Rhinos match.
Leo started round 1 game 1 with a Breeding Pool+Plains hand… but the deck still delivered! The maindeck bullets carried a lot of weight in G1s. Today’s lesson: Riddler is great at blocking Rhinos.
Lost to Yawg in the semis, a matchup he need to practice more if it gets popular.
Finished first in Swiss at today’s RCQ with @MahfuzVanGogh’s Dredge list, but then lost in the quarterfinals against Goryo’s. The deck felt strong throughout the tournament. I lost Round 1 against Storm — they killed me twice on turn 3.

He takes a deep dive into the U/W Blink deck in Legacy, covering the strategy, key interactions, and what makes the deck such a powerful and exciting choice in the current format.
Congrats 🔥
Not one, but two members of @TeamBasicLandGo reached the finals of yesterday’s ELMQ.
Big congrats to Baal @SplitSecondMTG for taking home the victory! 🏆
After 9 intense rounds in today’s Spotlight Series: Secrets of Strixhaven, Leo and Philippe came heartbreakingly close to making Day 2. Take a look at their decklists!

@JRiedener is one of three members of Team Basic Land Go that traveled all the way to London.
His current record is 2-3 and he is trying to fight back.
Submitted my deck for #MagicSpotlightSecrets in London.
I’ve been working on this deck for quite some time now, and I think the new additions, Daydream and Rescue, could be really strong.
If you want to try this deck on MTGO but don’t have all the cards, you can use @Mana_traders to get quick access to everything you need.
