Obviously, I see a lot of comments about Hunter Campbell. He represents the UFC, and his job is to do what’s best for the company. Our job, as managers and fighters, is to do what’s best for us.
But one thing I can tell you — during his era, fighters are making a lot more money, and he’s someone who has always been easy to work with. We don’t agree on everything, and we definitely have disagreements, but I’ve never felt disrespected, he’s never disrespected the fighters, and he always goes above and beyond to do the best he can.
Obviously, fighters and managers will always want more money, and that’s never going to stop. But you cannot attack the man’s character, because I believe he’s a decent human being and someone who truly loves this sport, just like all of us do.
Love my home at @rizin_PR
Over the next few months I’m back in the gym and getting better, looking to improve in all areas before I make my return to the ring. I’m looking to fill these shorts with Japanese sponsorships as I return to meet for business and to train in Japan soon
What a show!
@rizin_PR was by far the craziest experience of my life. Home to recover get back in the gym to change a lot of things and come back stronger.
@dozing_lotus@wgdW8wJGhD574@komonotoushika@Mikuruasakura_ That’s more strikes than any opponent has landed on him in his ufc career and I did it coming off the couch and making weight in 3 weeks! 🤣 vacated my belts to take a short notice fight to test myself against the other best 35ers in the world.
The worst for Chito Vera, lost the split decision and was so pissed he tried to walk out the wrong side of the cage and had to walk all the way to the other side of the cage. Cringe. #UFCVancouver
