Boys Second Team All-POG
Maksim Lares 26’ Eastlake -
much more developed and confident score than years past, looking at his stature you expect him to struggle with the physicality and speed of the game— but he’s just as strong and just as fast. has a great ability to adapt to what he team needs from him.
Talen Miller 28’ Las Cruces -
i don’t think the kid is done growing and that’s scary, for his age he knows and sees the game like a 4 yr starter. physical but extremely smart, he can play with any other 4 and he will probably still looks comfortable, engaged, and productive.
Prince Reeves 29’ Chapin -
FEARLESS. not too many kids are even “competitive” anymore, so seeing his fire & energy, then the kid is already 6’3 with ridiculous range, as he cleans up his ball handling and finishing ability, do not be surprised if the D1’s start calling. if put in the right positions and opportunities he’s going to win Newcomer of the Year.
Jared Dominguez 28’ Eastwood -
understands the game with such a maturity you don’t normally see from sophomores, at maybe 6’1 he might be the most athletic guard you’re going to see this year. can and will get on the rim from either baseline. as he becomes a better shooter, he’s going to be more and more of a problem to scout.
Zander Montano 28’ El Dorado -
surprisingly, even sitting behind Villalobos & Rodriguez, he’s READY to go. easily one of the best ball handlers, never rattled, and even undersized gets to ALL his spots. puts his nose in the mud defensively and takes on tough assignments, and will win. competitor from the root, going to one of your favorite young guys to watch.
Special thank you to Fort Bliss Sports, Fitness & Aquatics for making this possible in one of El Paso’s premier facilities.
We’re also opening coaching inquiries — if you’re a collegiate coach interested in being part of SSC26, email us at [email protected] or message us directly.

Hoops lanes have switched and the team committed program defenses are killing these back to school ball kids.
1. No improved scoring ability
2. No improved passing ability
3. No improved read and react ability
4. No improved conditioning.
5. No improved strength
6. No improved IQ
Money down the drain.
If your kid has talent … send them away or lock in with serious hooping minds - affiliated teams won’t cut it either.
Either way… I’ll get them Falcons right.
