As I wrote my book, "The Entrepreneur's Dilemma," about my 48-year entrepreneurial career, I mentioned that I would attempt to maintain a non-political commentary on all matters. However, towards the end of the book, I had to admit that I had somewhat violated my intent to present full and truthful information on certain subjects. Now, as our presidential campaign heats up, I am seeing statements from the press and a candidate that we know are untruthful. The lack of integrity associated with this political campaign concerns me greatly. Enough said!

When I was President Trump's 2016 Campaign Finance Chairman for the state of Georgia, I defended his bold and "bombastic" comments by comparing them to those of Winston Churchill. Both men had a similar sense of humor, which could be offensive to certain individuals. However, had our English allies not elected Winston Churchill as their Prime Minister, the outcome of World War II could have been very negatively affected. For some of his humor, go to the internet and search "Winston Churchill quotes to Lady Astor."

I firmly believe that our former president, Donald Trump, has all those qualities of Churchill and uses them in a similar manner. Today, America is facing a possible world war and other major issues. We are in dire need of a president who is a very experienced business executive with the intelligence, common sense, and courage to deal with our international enemies while at the same time caring greatly for all Americans and our economy.

I am honored to present a copy of a short letter that President Trump wrote to me last June. You should strongly focus on his comment about Americans "who believe in—and have defended—the great American ideals of faith, family, community, and country first. Know that I will never stop fighting for the America you and I cherish." Then, to finish with an emphasis on his faith, he stated, "May God continue to bless you and your wonderful wife."

Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served and continue to serve to protect the freedoms of our great nation, the United States of America! Today, I reflect on my journey and the privilege I had to serve this country. After completing my Master's degree, I felt deeply committed to defending and preserving what America stands for. In the summer of 1964, I went on active duty in the Army. I was stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas, supporting army aviation activities to bolster readiness for the Vietnam War.

That experience taught me resilience, dedication, and a profound respect for those who sacrifice to keep our nation safe. Like many veterans, I can proudly say, "I would do it all over again."

Let us thank all the veterans in our lives today and remember the values they fought to protect. Every veteran's story is a thread in the fabric of our nation, reminding us of the bravery and commitment that make America strong.

I enjoy visiting the Georgia State University campus from time to time. Last week, I was invited to attend an event hosted by GSU to meet Charlie Kirk from Turning Point USA and Vivek Ramaswamy.
