Exciting news for all the teams traveling to participate in our tournament this fall and winter. 🙌

Quick update before we head to Chicago: group workout for middle school girls and boys starts at 6 p.m. Tonight for sixth grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade boys’ eval’s. Will go on at 7 o’clock tonight, and we also have 2/4th grade spots open up. We’re currently at six players. If you are interested, please let me know.

If a player declines their offer, we will reopen evaluations for that age group based on the number of openings we have available.

Any available spots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the roster is full.

🏀 WHY ARE WE STARTING THE RISE UP FALL GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE?

Over the past few years, I've noticed a gap in girls basketball.

Once AAU ends, many players don't have another opportunity to compete before the high school season begins. For many incoming 8th graders, that transition has become even tougher as they're being pulled up to high school teams earlier than ever.

So instead of asking why that opportunity doesn't exist...we decided to create one.

Our goal is simple: give girls entering 8th–12th grade more game experience, more confidence, and more opportunities to compete before the season starts all while staying local.

This league isn't about replacing school basketball or AAU.

It's about creating another opportunity for girls to grow.

We're excited to see where this goes. 🩷🏀

Spots are limited to 40 players per division (4 teams of 10 players).

As we wrap up our first season with the Rise Up Alliance Boys program, I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to all of the parents for your commitment, support, and trust throughout the season. Youth sports only work when families are willing to invest their time and energy, and we appreciate every one of you.

A special thank you to Coach Chris for bringing the boys over to Rise Up. We hope this was a positive experience for everyone involved and that the players created memories that will last a lifetime.

Most importantly, thank you to the boys. You represented the Rise Up brand the right way—with effort, sportsmanship, and a willingness to compete. Wins and losses will come and go, but character, teamwork, and how you treat others will always matter most.
