Back-to-back storms hit the Hawaiian Islands this month. Floodwaters have receded, but the damage remains. Homes wrecked, roads blocked, communities stuck in the aftermath.
So we're doing what we do. Working closely with local leadership, Greyshirt volunteers on Oʻahu are clearing debris, cutting access, and surveying damage. More volunteers are inbound from across the nation.
Will you help us support Hawaiʻi? https://t.co/w2UGOe2xYP

When Winter Storm Fern hit, the cameras stayed on the cities. Rural America got iced in and ignored.
Back roads buried. Trees across driveways. Power crews unable to reach homes.
That's where Team Rubicon came in.
Over the past week, Greyshirt volunteers deployed to Savannah and Nashville, TN and Holly Springs, MS.
This work doesn’t make the evening news.
But we go where the cameras don’t.
If you’re with us, fuel the work. Help us reach the communities that can’t wait.

@TeamRubicon has activated their Emergency Operations Center and is coordinating with state and county emergency managers. "Greyshirt" trained volunteers are preparing chainsaws, generators, vehicles, cold-weather gear and have identified reconnaissance teams to deploy quickly.
When roads are blocked, communities are cut off.
Team Rubicon has deployed a Quick Reaction Force to Hardin County, TN, in response to Winter Storm Fern. Greyshirt volunteers are working alongside Tennessee State Forestry and the Tennessee Department of Transportation to clear roadway debris to reopen access for emergency services and the surrounding community.
Clearing roads means first responders can move, families can get supplies, and communities can start recovering.

Greyshirt volunteers are in Redlands and Green Valley, CA on a wildfire mitigation operation, conducting fuel reduction along the Wildland–Urban Interface. They're cutting down what makes fires dangerous where homes meet the wild.
That work looks like thinning thick brush, removing dead trees, and clearing dry fuels on the ground. When there’s less to burn, fires don’t burn as hot or spread as fast, making it easier and safer for firefighters to take on.
The payoff is real: homes and infrastructure are better protected, evacuation routes stay clearer, and firefighters have a better shot at stopping the fire.
Bottom line, this work lowers the risk of losing lives, homes, and critical community resources when wildfire hits.
