When I was executive director of @GaRepublicans in 1992, we blocked David Duke from the Republican primary ballot for President. We were sued by the ACLU. Leftist groups like the ACLU and SPLC do everything in their power to promote racists and keep our country divided.
Bill @Pulte has done amazing work as Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency securing our housing market. He is an excellent choice to succeed Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
The President and I alleged in our lawsuit contesting the 2020 election that approximately 5,000 votes had been cast in the names of voters for whom there was on file a death certificate that matched the name and year of birth of the voter. We needed the full birth dates to quantify the exact number of dead people voting. Raffensperger refused to turn over the birth dates to us unless we dropped the lawsuit first - a patently ridiculous demand that inflamed the President's frustration leading up to the telephone call.
The President and I "verified" our lawsuit - swore to the truth of every claim - exposing ourselves to criminal liability for perjury if we lied. But Fani Willis and Nathan Wade never charged us with perjury or even mentioned the lawsuit in their "racketeering" indictment. They constructed their bogus "crime" theories in a fantasy world in which our lawsuit never existed.
We often conflate Veterans Day and Memorial Day. On Veterans Day, we honor the gray-haired veterans who served our country and lived to grow old among us. Today, we remember the young men—and sometimes boys—who sacrificed their lives so that we might grow old as free Americans.
I served with Steve Gooch in the State Senate. Lawmaking is often a series of unpleasant compromises, but I can tell you that Steve was a conservative by nature who pushed things in the right direction. I wish him the best.
Here in Georgia, the Democratic Party spent $8 million promoting a slate of unqualified judicial candidates, including one of Fani Willis's deputies for a seat on the Court of Appeals. They were overwhelmingly rejected thanks in large part to @GreaterGeorgia and @GaRepublicans.
Prayers up for the family of @TulsiGabbard. One of the high moments of my time as State Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party was spending a day on a bus with Tulsi campaigning for Herschel Walker.
An amazing comeback by @BurtJonesForGA who endured a hundred million dollars of false attacks and placed first last night in the Republican Primary. A good man who will be a great Governor.
For two years @Buddy_Carter and I sat next to each other on the floor of the State Senate. He wrote a weekly newspaper column in long hand on a yellow pad. He read every bill. He kept his word when he gave it. He let you know - to your face - when he was pissed off. It was an honor to serve with him.
