Finishing my day of panels at AFF and after 2 days (7 panels) and 23 panelists, the panelists have been 7/23 women (more than one panel with no women on them at all), 2/23 people of color and a whopping one single woman of color panelist. 😕 tomorrow adds 2 women, one of color.
Update: We did it! We finished the film! It took 4x longer than expected, but I am so proud of the final product. Now on to festival submissions! Wish us luck. Or send advice! Both are welcome. @TeamTeamWorkPro@andbreathefilm

RIP Anne V Coates, Oscar winning editor of (among others) Lawrence Of Arabia, Elephant Man & Out Of Sight. Also assistant editor on The Red Shoes. Everyone talks about the match cut in Lawrence, so let's cheer too for the sublime editing in the (pre) love scene in Out Of Sight.
