I don’t even mind cooking utensils or cleaning tools; I’m going to need those in my daily anyway.
I made no-bake cookies this morning, but instead of dropping spoonfuls into the pan, I spread it evenly and separated them with a pastry knife.
Everything is uniform. No “he got the bigger one!” or “hers has more because it’s taller!” complaints.

It’s not easy to ignore the hate, but I try to avoid adding to it.

We don’t know what kind of kiss it was; his older sister relayed the story to us.
She says that he just was just sitting there afterward, looking stunned.
We told all of our kids that if they graduate high school without kissing anyone, they earn $500.
Our third child was saying goodbye to his best friend who was moving out of state.
She was aware of this stipulation, and kissed him unexpectedly as they got into the moving van.

Replies? Several times a day. Mostly supportive or uplifting comments, or clarifying questions.

@MidlifeCredo As children, you were putting on clothes long before your parents started telling you to apply deodorant.
As an adult, you probably still pull on your shirt first out of habit, even though you know you’ll need to apply deodorant. 🤷
@_BeeHolder_ Corn meal is toxic to ants, and kills the Queen. It takes a few days, since it builds up in their guts, but is safe for pets and kids.
And fairly inexpensive.
My children have started to pronounce words in the scriptures starting with “s” as “ess-” and then the rest of the word:
Slaughter = “ess-laughter”
Sword = “ess-word”
Swore = “ess-wore”
Whenever we read “nay” they all neigh like a farm animal.
Sister-In-Law has a daughter who served her mission in the area that Brother-In-Law currently lives. It covered the area that included our old stake.
BiL has a son who is serving in the area where SiL currently lives. And he was just transferred into our stake.
