Gold FALSE BREAK?! As an equity bull I'm VERY concerned about the possibility of a wave-5 ending diagonal FALSE break in gold while below $2356.
Many don't realize that stocks, treasuries, FX, crypto, AND gold are all trending higher for the similar macro reasons. If gold fails then FX fails (USD rallies), treasuries fail (rates higher), and stocks likely fall.
Bottom line, if you want to be bullish on equities you want to see gold move above $2356
I wrote an article for @CNBCPro talking about concerns with $NFLX heading into earnings. I hold a 3% allocation in my growth model, but was cautious into the report on fundamental valuation, non-participation of rotation within comms sector, and Fib retracement resistance on weekly at $513. Welp, trading $534 after hours and if defended that’s very constructive. https://t.co/eelmiIC3a0
Equity Put/Call ratio bumped up to resistance levels typically accompanied by drops of 5%+ in the SPX. All the SPX did this time was consolidate sideways below all-time highs as sentiment grew very bearish; this is a bullish market tell
Quick $3400 on a zero DTE $NVDA call spread.
BUT...
I HAVE to stop day trading. Even when the market is offering free money. I'm NOT 25 years old anymore. I am a medium-to- longer term portfolio manager. Grow up Todd.
Just published an article on @CNBCPro about Nvidia ($NVDA) https://t.co/IgS8P3Od35 The stock FINALLY broke out above $500 resistance after a bout of under-performance in the back half of '23 on news that they are to start producing the US export law-friendly H20 chip headed for China. As we move further into the 'exponential age' is the semi-behemoth reasserting its dominance? It's the 3rd largest holdings in our growth portfolio at Inside Edge Capital, and I hold the stock personally, in a big way :-)
