Jeanne and Andy live in southern CT. and love to travel and dine out. Check our restaurant and hotel reviews, travel information and videos of our adventures!
The Team was invited to the grand opening of @barlolanyc on Restaurant Row. We can say that we will definitely be back. Amazing food and cocktails. Very hip artwork, great music and vibe. This is a FUN spot.
Hope everyone has a great day at #M365Con today! We still have a couple more confirmation waves going out, so hurry and request a ticket by stopping at the ENow Booth (405) this morning or registering here: https://t.co/2Hhc4wLYuS #SchdMaintenance#M365Conf
The Team had been to beautiful St. Kitts once before, so we decided to take a trip to Nevis. What an amazing time! We stopped at Sunshine's Beach Bar #sunshinenevis on Pinney's Beach and had great food and a couple of Killer Bees! HIGHLY recommended! #nevis#stKittsandNevis
Another first for the Team was St. George's, Grenada. We created our own excursion and took a cab to La Plywood Beach Bar Cafe on BBC Beach (Morne Rouge Beach.) The best dive bar in Grenada! #grenada#plywoodbbc
The Team visited St. John's, Antigua for the first time and after exploring the downtown, we did a zipline adventure through a canopy of trees in the rain forest. So much fun! 13 zip lines, 2 suspension bridges, 3 aerial walkways, and a tree house #antigua#stjohnsantigua
The Team stopped in ST. Thomas, USVI. We took a ferry to ST. John and went to Trunk Bay where there is a US National Park. Only $5 to get in. You can plunk your cooler and towel down on the beach or rent chairs. Food and drinks are available for purchase. #StJohnUSVI#trunkbay
This was the Team's first time stopping in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. A beautiful island with wonderful people. Jeanne and I decided to spend some time at the gorgeous Coconut Cove Beach. #puertoplata, #dominicanrepublic, #santodomingo
If you cruise with any cruise line long enough, you can work your way up in their rewards system. #royalcaribbean has the #DiamondLounge for loyal guests. This is the lounge on Explorer of the Seas.
We usually book balcony cabins, but we joined this cruise last-minute and selected an "ocean view" room, cabin #2632. Plenty of space and we loved that our window was only about 15 feet above the water. Great ocean views gliding along the waves. #exploreroftheseas#royalcaribbean
The Team just completed a fantastic cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas! We'll share some photos of the ship and the ports of call that we were able to visit. #royalcaribbean#exploreroftheseas
We love the #CasablancaCafeFL for the great food, friendly bar staff and the outdoor patio bar. Sit in the shade with a craft cocktail or glass of wine and watch the cars and people go by on A1A. The inside bar is a fun at night with piano music and everyone in the bar singing.
This is our second time staying at #theDriftHotel in Ft. Lauderdale, and it was as good as the first. Nothing fancy, but great rooms and the perfect location. Very friendly staff makes you feel at home and the room prices were very reasonable. Loved it here.
Late-night slices? Yes, thank you! We love them in NYC, and also love them at #MrZsKeyWest on the corner of Duval and Southard. Open until 4 am on Friday and Saturday nights. Share a slice, sit under stars, and feel the warm breezes as you end a night of partying in KW.
You cannot go to Key West without stopping in for food, drinks, and the best live music at #HogsBreathKW ! This is a must for the Team when we go to Key West. Friendly staff and the famous outdoor stage. You may even spot Kenny Chesney or the guys from Little Feat having a drink.
Always busy, always fun! That's #IrishKevinsBar in Key West on Duval Street. Open really, really late with live music until 2:00 or 2:30. Great place to stop in at any time of day.
The Team did our first nighttime kayak adventure and loved it! The glass-bottomed, lighted kayaks are a great way to view sea life at night. The guide brings you into the mangroves and points out barracudas, sharks, lobsters, and more. The tour is an hour long and is fascinating.
In Key West you really don't need a car. Everything is within walking distance and parking is at a premium. There are many beautiful homes and areas of town that you can make part of a daily walking tour.
You are hereby ordered to get yourself down to #SunsetPier at #OceanKeyResort at the end of Duval Street 30 minutes before sunset EVERY day. Grab a drink from the outdoor tiki bar, pull up a chair, and enjoy the spectacular sunsets while listening to great bands on the pier stage
