I'm Weihua Yan, and I'm running to defeat George Santos' biggest supporter.
As an immigrant, entrepreneur, and advocate, I'll tackle our biggest issues and stop conmen like Santos from ever coming to power again. Chip in today: https://t.co/6Hem5k2DlU

My heart aches for the victims of the Lewiston, Maine shootings. This tragedy once again underscores the need for immediate action on gun violence prevention. We cannot continue living in fear.
My thoughts are with the entire community during this devastating time.
I will continue to be a strong ally to our Jewish community. And I will continue to uphold integrity, honesty and to encourage inclusiveness and kindness to our community.
I am appalled by statements made in 2018 by a campaign staff member denigrating the State of Israel. Upon learning of these comments, I immediately terminated this employee. The views stated are in complete opposition to the respect, admiration, and affection that I have for the
the Jewish state and for my Jewish friends and neighbors. The State of Israel has, since its inception, stood as a beacon of democracy, innovation, and resilience in the Middle East. Israel has the right to exist, to defend itself, and to prosper.
My statement on the shootings in Lewiston, Maine last night.
We cannot allow a world where tragedies like this persist. It's time to act, now.

Here's our new extremist Speaker of the House, joined by his caucus in yelling at a reporter to "shut up" when asked a question about his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
They could not be less serious about governing our country.
Last night, my wife and I visited Temple Beth-El for evening of music, prayer and art. It lifts our hearts to see people come together for the Dove Project, which will distribute decorated paper doves around Great Neck to show support for Israel and spread hope in the community.

Most NYers have no idea voting in the general election for City Council starts Saturday.
Across NYC there are far-right GOP candidates challenging Dem incumbents—Many in districts Lee Zeldin won or almost won last year.
If Dems don’t show up, we'll lose some of these races. 1/
I've been pushing for adding 110 more police officers and a dedicated hate Crimes Unit this entire campaign.
If you want consistency on public safety, I'm your candidate. https://t.co/g4prJcRgv5
Wait, I'm confused.
Mazi Pilip refused to vote to add 110 additional police officers and a hate crimes unit earlier this year, saying we didn't need more police. Now she's put forward an amendment to hire less than 1/3rd of what was proposed. Did she think we'd forget?

Thank you to everyone who came to our final fundraiser of the 2023 cycle, and thank you to Dave Marcus for opening his home to us. The support we're seeing across the community has energized me for these final weeks of the campaign.
Together, we are going to win on November 7th.
Our students deserve the best.
As your legislator, I'll work with our state and federal partners to secure more funding for schools, improve educational resources, and enhance Nassau County's school infrastructure.
