We thought that Wayne's "Containing the Port" Scenario over on the World War III website would make for an interesting game, but without 40' and 20' containers it just wouldn't feel right, so they are discounted through till the end of the month.

Wayne has written up an exciting new scenario featuring a port assault between a US Marine Amphibious Force and Iranian Defensive Force. You can also easily adapt it to represent any number of other situations.

The venerable Jeep may not be as fancy as the new Rabbi, but it has served the IDF well for decades. Armed with a the Improved TOW launcher or new MAPATS missile launcher it is capable of knocking out Syrian armour.

Israel’s elite paratroopers are expected to fight on foot, as mechanised infantry, or in airborne and heli-borne assaults and raids. They are organised and equipped with Galil assault rifles, FN MAG GPMGs, and an assortment of AT weapons.

Initially identified as a Magach 5 (M48 Patton) variant, the Pereh had many military experts baffled. Fitted with a dummy gun tub, it featured an enlarged turret containing twelve Tammuz NLOS missiles in a pop-up missile launcher.

The US also supplied the IDF with M48 Chaparral surface-to-air missile (SAM) carriers. It used the MIM-72G Chaparral missile that was aimed manually by the operator until the missile locked on the hot exhaust of the aircraft before firing.

The Israelis have been supplied with the new American AH-64 Apache attack helicopter to supplement their existing AH-1 ‘Viper’ attack helicopters. The Israelis have named the new helicopter the ‘Cobra’, or Peten in Hebrew.
