Wind Turbines are broken into classes for extreme wind per IEC 61400-1 (Classes I, II, III) based on a 50-year return period wind speed. The highest (I) at 50 m/s (112mph). My analysis of a Greenfield EF4 wind turbine was 116mph.

Observations of the MCS exceeded both thresholds.

Yesterday, very large hail fell in SW Czechia, reaching up to 8 cm in diameter. Despite marginal deep layer shear, transient right-moving supercell interacting with another updraft along convergence zone created favorable conditions for growth of massive hail.

A violent wedge tornado stuck northern Germany near the town of Woldegk, killing 1 and injuring 3. This tornado was remarkable for both its intensity and its contribution to science.

BREAKING: Vor wenigen Momenten war es soweit - Der bisherige Temperaturrekord für den Monat Juni in Deutschland wurde in Saarbrücken-Burbach geknackt. Mit 40,0 Grad wurde der bisherige Rekord um 0,4 Grad übertroffen, welcher am 30.06.2019 in Bernburg an der Saale gemessen wurde.

W nocy zostały zaraportowane bardzo intensywne szkody w rejonie południa powiatu średzkiego. Prawdopodobnie są spowodowane przez RFD superkomórki burzowej, która w tym rejonie występowała. Możliwe było również wystąpienie trąby powietrznej. Analiza szkód rozwieje wątpliwości.
