This is true. I just have had experiences where people say spreading the message or telling the truth of what a boycott literally is is “hostile”
There’s no point in name calling or things like that you’re right and there’s only so much one can say before it’s just badgering. It’s a balance you’re right.

I’ll admit something.

I have a pessimistic streak when it comes to the things I love. I always worry they’re somehow destined to disappear. That’s why I’m so afraid Valko won’t come back.

But these past few days have also given me something I didn’t expect: hope.

Seeing the overwhelming love for Valko, reading everyone’s stories, and watching people from all over the world come together has made this feel so much less lonely. So many of us carry our own struggles, and somehow we’ve found each other through this little wolf. 🐺❤️

What has moved me most, though, is seeing fans turn their heartbreak into kindness by donating to meaningful causes in Valko’s name. That is such a beautiful form of protest. Instead of spreading hate, people are choosing compassion and changing real lives.

I’ve honestly never witnessed a global gaming community respond quite like this.

Whatever happens next, I hope we never lose that spirit.

Valko is loved, as are the people fighting for him.

Valko is another layer in why I care about Love and Deepspace so much in the first place.

His confidence. His teasing smile. His warmth beneath the bravado. The enemies-to-lovers chemistry. The playful wolf charm hiding genuine affection.

Mhmm... I remained in this game fighting for the mainstory because I want to know how MC's story will end, how it actually started, why is it happening to her. All Love interests is a fragment of her memories, a key part of her story. But nonetheless, it is her story... If I'll miss someone the most from this game, it will be my MCs... Dear Executives,

I understand that the situation surrounding Valko was difficult and that we don't know every conversation happening behind the scenes.

But one thing is clear: a live-service game, especially one with a global audience, cannot thrive if players lose confidence in its creative direction. We're there now.

Today, it's a heavily promoted, unreleased character.

Tomorrow, what stops it from being an existing one?

Maybe they won't disappear. Maybe they'll simply be rewritten, altered, or sanitized.

That's the precedent your decision creates. It's the fear that what we buy now will be different later.

Many players (both in China and overseas) were harassed, bullied, and driven away from online spaces during this controversy. There are countless posts to prove it, actually.

You reassured players that your creative vision would be protected, but your announcement signaled otherwise. It told us that sustained pressure can change the outcome.

If tomorrow a coordinated campaign targets Sylus's introductory chapters in the name of "protecting women" or "public morality," what happens?

Do you rewrite his story?

Do you alter scenes players have already experienced?

Sylus is the love interest I've most invested in, but I've spent on them all and nearly have a 100% collection rate for the existing 5. I've loved their stories, how they met "us," and how the relationship evolved.

But if Valko couldn't be protected, why should I believe Sylus, or any other character, will be?

Anyone can take scenes out of context. Anyone can organize pressure campaigns. If that becomes the standard for changing creative works, how can players trust that the stories they've invested in today will still be the stories they own tomorrow?

Not just for LADS, but for any Chinese live-service game. And as you know, trust is the foundation of a live-service game. Without it, players stop investing, not just their money, but their time, enthusiasm, and belief in your "product."

As executives, I hope you'll consider that trust is one of your most valuable assets. Once it's broken, it's far harder to rebuild than any quarterly revenue report.

To borrow Xavier's words from the Lumiere Myth:

They’re literally saying there was more love interests planned after Valko. Valko and all other planned LIs are cancelled. I’m in shambles because the entire story is now being mangled due to Valko and any other plans being cancelled.

I think just raise the rating would be best. You can’t force minors out without bothering everyone with data invasion and a lot of this is subjective opinion. I agree minors probably shouldn’t be playing this game unsupervised. But I was also playing stuff like Saints Row 2 at like 12 years old but I was usually considered mature for my age.

So it seems Valko returning depends A LOT on whether his removal affects revenue or not.

If there was ever a time to guard your wallets, please, it is now. For Rafy’s 4th Myth, if Raf Mains can delay their spending by at least a week please do so 🥹 as long as the revenue graph doesn’t spike, we have a really good chance of allowing the creative team to argue for Valko’s return!

As it is, Valko is Rafayel’s pair. Just like Sylus and Xavier or Zayne and Caleb🙏🏼
