Stop watching Netflix and spend your time here each evening.

On the left side of the website, find the Condition section and click the “Like New” link. This is brand new product.

Find something you are interested in. Download the manifest.

Open the manifest in Excel and remove columns A, B, C, D, I, J, and K.

This should leave you with these columns:
Item Description
Qty
Unit Retail
Ext. Retail (= Qty x Unit Retail)

This is your sales document.

Use your network to find people in the business of selling the products in the Like New Condition category.

Ask them this question:

“Is there a price you would pay for this list of NEW products?”

If they say no or are suspicious, move on.

You will find someone who will tell you: “Yes if this product is new and as shown on this list, I would pay $X.XX for it.”

Write down that number.

You've just borrowed their authority and expertise.

Now, you work the deal backward.

This is your starting point if your buyer told you they would pay $5K for the list.

Using this $5K example – you want to deduct:
(shipping costs)
(bstock fee)

Let’s say that is $500 in this example.

Ask yourself, what profit do I want to make on this deal?

$500? $1000? Let’s go with $1000.

$5000 sale price.
($500) shipping and fees
-----------------
$4500

Set your bid at $3500 and walk away.

You will lose 80% of what you bid on.

But the 20% that you win is where your Monster Profits live.

This strategy works.

How do I know?

Because I have used it repeatedly to learn about and sell products I don't know anything about.

If you’re risk averse, this is the way to get started.

Want to sell fragrances? Visit every store near you that sells fragrances and ask them if they will buy from you.

Want to sell electronics? Do the same.

Small sellers are better and easier to work with.

You have nothing to lose but some time and research.

If you want more, you have to do more.

What’s the first step to making $10K selling liquidation products?

Getting a Resale Permit

Why?

Because companies like Costco, Amazon, Target and more won’t sell to you without one.

These companies will only sell their excess inventory and customer returns to businesses.

The first step in experimenting is to register for a Resale Permit for your state. Even if you never use it.

Once you get a Resale Permit, you can register on the liquidation sites and begin researching.

Here’s how to get your Resale Permit:

Step 1: Never pay anyone to get a Resale Permit! Some companies will charge you to apply for the permit. Your State will give you one for free.

Search online for “Your State Name + Resale Permit” or “Your State Name + Reseller Permit.”

Be sure you are applying on a government website for your State. Not some intermediary that will charge you a fee.

Most states will issue you the permit quickly, some instantly and others within a few days.

I noticed something interesting about many memecoins on XRPL. In many cases, nearly all of their liquidity is in the form of an AMM between XRP and the memecoin. This means that if the price of XRP (say, measured in dollars) goes up, say, 5%, the price of the memecoin (again, measured in dollars) goes up 5% automatically because the AMM maintains the same exchange rate to XRP.

Of course, the memcoin's price can change independently of the price of XRP. And an increase in the price of XRP leading to an increase in the price of the memecoin can trigger profit taking in the memecoin even if it doesn't trigger profit taking in XRP.

But still, it means that if you hold $50 worth of a memecoin of this type, one component of the future price of the memecoin will be changes in the price of XRP. In effect, you have some exposure to the changing supply and demand for the meme and some exposure to the changing value of XRP.

A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced...
