THE JESUS LEADERSHIP EXAMPLE…Mark 3:13–19
Our Lord Jesus Christ had a team of disciples, each with unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses.
The leadership lesson is profound: every leader has a Thomas, a John, a James, a Peter and even a Judas.

Thomas-the questioner; he needs evidence before he believes. The doubter who needs evidence.
John-the devoted one; loyal and relational. The loyal, intimate supporter.
James-the committed one; willing to sacrifice and endure.
Peter-the passionate one; bold, imperfect, but capable of restoration. The passionate follower who may stumble but can recover.
Judas-the betrayer; close to the leader, yet ultimately disloyal. The trusted person whose loyalty ultimately fails.

The key lesson is that every leader will encounter different kinds of people; those who question, those who love, those who serve, those who stumble and rise again, and those who may betray. Great leadership requires recognizing that not everyone close to you has the same heart, motives, or level of loyalty.

For every leader, there is a Thomas who questions, a John who remains loyal, a James who stands committed, a Peter who stumbles but rises again, and a Judas who betrays and never recovers. Leadership is learning to recognize each one without losing sight of the mission.

The wicked may appear prosperous, powerful and untouchable for a season, but their triumph is temporary. They may spread like a flourishing tree and appear unconquerable, but they will not endure forever.
God’s justice may seem delayed, but it is never evaded or avoided. The wicked falls in a moment; what appears permanent today will disappear in no time. In the blink of an eye, their season will end, and they will be seen no more.

How is it possible to be a multi-award winning journalist & then be comfortable associating with a prolific troll merchant who is comfortable with posting x-rated profanities, sensational, nasty, malicious, fabricated & defamatory content on social media out of desperation to assassinate someone's character?

Dear Zimbos, since Hopewell & Ali Naka are bosom buddies, I encourage you to now take the very reasonable view that Hopewell endorses & associates with Ali's revolting behaviour - and that, that is actually his real level in life.

The rest is pretence / cover, wanting to present a veneer of respectability while in essence he derives immense pleasure / gratification in taking gulps from the contents of a cesspool.

It is reasonable to conclude that he is either Ali Naka's puppet master or co-conspirator, totally at ease with deploying the dark arts to further their own unknown agenda.

How can such a man, dripping & drenched in filth - be fit to hold anyone to account? That is the end of him.

It's one thing to disagree politically, even in a heated manner, and quite a huge leap to be comfortable around a shadowy figure who primarily dabbles in assassinating reputations based on falsehoods - behaviour typically used by state & other malign actors & their agents to silence dissent!

It's within the band of what is reasonable to assume that there are undisclosed areas of convergence & compatibility which are mutually reinforcing & beneficial so as to make it worthwhile for Hopewell to be willing to suffer a huge dent in his reputation!

In Shona folklore we say: "ukadziya moto wembava newewo uri mbavha!" (If you accept stolen property from a thief you will also be regarded as one!)

This is multi-award winning shamelessness on steroids! Anyway, I will not nibble. I will now pursue the long game on both of them.

Ali / Victor obviously believes that he is untouchable, so it presents a very nice challenge to unlock the pathway towards doing so!

He obviously thinks that it's a social media tit for tat game & that, that is where it will all end!

Their doomed next assignment / project that they are mischievously trying to weaponise is @Cde_Ostallos.

They choose a prominent candidate & unleash a deluge of carefully curated insincere glorification & ingratiation to sow seeds of doubt, division & rivalriness at the heart of Chamisa's camp.

That's the script. They deploy their famed political kiss of death to propel their chosen fall guy to political oblivion.

Once their evil deed is complete, they decamp & set off for the next assignment.

Unfortunately for them, it's now a well worn script which will remain stuck on ground zero!

I come back with the same line of questions that I have previously asked. In whose service are they carrying out these assignments?

It's time to disclose that while he pretends that it was always hunky dory between him & the late intellectual giant, Dr Alex Magaisa, Hopewell was actually blocked by Magaisa at some point for trolling behaviour, the very same behaviour we are witnessing now, so this is not something new.

Imagine what one would have needed to do to "achieve" that heightened state of notoriety as to cause someone like Alex to even contemplate blocking you?

To develop this point further to its natural conclusion, how can one take Hopewell seriously if he previously insulted & tormented the very Magaisa himself that he now wants to nicodemously brandish as the unrivalled yardstick of intellectual excellence?

That is in essence after-the-fact revisionism that is being weaponised for selfish reasons, to unleash an evil & sustained campaign of bullying, harassment & torrent of insults to silence me involving him & his minions.

What's worse, the truth is that Hopewell simply doesn't believe that cheap jibe he routinely lobbies at me.

It was coined out of desperation after I had spectacularly dismantled a few of his post August 2023 elections posts.

Each of my responses to his posts was averaging circa 90k views, with the last one, on the day that he blocked me clocking a mind boggling tally in excess of 250k - eclipsing Hopewell's original post.

Correspondingly, the followership tally was also literally exploding on a day basis - a phenomenon that caught me unawares as it was all to knew to me. Those who followed me at that time will recall what it was like!

As I have previously recounted, I had previously been repeatedly invited to be more pro-active on X by Alex & Dewa but had been reluctant to do so owing to what I had experienced Alex undergoing from his own disclosures!

Riddled with terminal bouts of insecurity & terrified of losing his followers as he routinely acknowledges, Hopewell folded & chose the blockville button, even though no single insult had been exchanged.

So there was no protracted falling out. It's there to see on his & my handle. He was simply intellectually intimidated & chose to cower away rather than stepping to the challenge.

His calculation was that, blocking me would dim my star instantly & cause the passing fad to wear off - meaning my influence would then wane with dramatic effect, bring the juggernaut to a shuddering halt! Unfortunately for him, the phenomenon continued independently, even with the jibes, much to his chagrin!

To avoid wearing out that jibe, he added a few ones, such as the AI one & his minions joined in. He knows that it's reckless, harmful, false & defamatory.

He has previously been forced to settle a defamation claim, yet his brittle ego means he can't help himself as he knows no other pathway other than to resort to default settings!

There is far too much unnecessary anger among us. Granted, we have been through a lot as Zimbabweans, but our pain is no justification for passing that pain on to fellow citizens. We can disagree without hating, confront injustice without dehumanising one another, and choose forgiveness over bitterness.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT…

I am making this response out of turn with my usual approach not to engage individuals personally. I last spoke to you in 2022, soon after the death of Dr. Alex Magaisa. We stopped talking after there had been a leaked audio in which you and the unidentified intelligence operative, were gratuitously attacking me without basis or reason and through lies, when you had direct and full access to me. I therefore saw no reason in continuing to trust you. Since then you have been on a hateful smear campaign, devoting your time to paint me a monster and less than wise.
Your post earlier follows a series of other like-sounding character assignations and malicious attacks. A line has been consistently crossed, whereby all manner of false narratives have been manufactured to damage and harm my standing , even where the verifiable truth suggests and informs otherwise. I make the following submissions, on the various wild assertions, with the sole intent of putting to bed these sideshows, distractions, and allow us to focus our attention on citizens’ struggles where it is needed most. My focus is on fighting for freedom, transformation, a Citizens Republic and a Citizens government in our life.
The following are falsehoods that have been peddled and the lies conceived or concocted by haters.
1. I am a champion of structured and organized grassroots movement outfits having successfully founded and formed MDC, MDC ALLIANCE and CCC. It is simply not true that I am averse to structured politics. My record within the democratic movement says it all. I am part of a proud history of forming strong movements which have defeated dictatorship to the point of them now attempting to ban elections. Which other movements on the continent have been as strong electorally, as MDC, MDC-A and CCC? Check my involvement in all three? I am fully aware of how you achieve results. A movement is not just a name. A movement is an idea, a strategy, a structure, it’s about collective leadership, its team effort, its energizing the base, it’s an organized approach, but above all, an ability to evolve and survive, uncompromised. You do not organize effectively as we did, and win elections successively as we did, without a plan, method, a structure, and a strategy. If it were that easy and straightforward, everyone would be able to do it.

2. I’m a proud team player. It is NOT TRUE that the CCC was a “one man band.” CCC is in the local government, National Assembly and Senate. So how does CCC become a “one-man band” when it is represented across these arms of government and state, yet the ‘one man’, yours truly, is not not even part of the band? It’s just outright malice!
You say I made myself President and deliberately built CCC around myself. That is false and malicious. CCC organically emerged from broad consultations we made across the length and breadth of Zimbabwe, prior to its formation. The citizens i consulted nationwide gave a mandate to spearhead the then new baby as a response to the hijacking of the MDC Alliance upon ED machinations. We went out into the countryside with three questions:
i. What do we do with the fact that the court has taken away the party name, and the party from us?
ii. Do we continue to participate in disputed elections without reforms ?
iii. How do we select candidates, Presidential, MPs and Councillors?

The responses from the citizens informed how we behaved thereafter, and up to this day. How does a “one man band” attract over 2 million votes and be able to organize and support candidates in different communities all over Zimbabwe? As a matter of verifiable fact, the CCC had organs such as the Citizens National Assembly, which met and made binding decisions which I was also bound to, even in instances where I was of a different political or strategic view. The CNA brought together cluster leaders represented different districts. We also had committees, as well as Bureau

One of the biggest lessons one can draw from @nelsonchamisa's UK tour is that social media is overrated.

There is a huge gap between social media & brick & mortar footprints.

Chamisa is clearly a collosus on the ground. Many were desperately yearning to reconnect with him!

I witnessed an outpouring of genuine affection & love.

There was a touching moment, a very raw one for me when a woman in her 60s & her friend made an impassioned plea to Chamisa before going on to shed tears!

REFUSING THE TEMPTATION TO RULE…Then the Israelites said to Gideon, “Rule over us—you and your son and grandson—for you have saved us from the hand of Midian.” But Gideon replied, “I will not rule over you, nor will my son. The LORD shall rule over you.” Judges 8:22-23

Gideon answered correctly. In essence, they wanted Gideon to be king over Israel; however the time predicted by Moses that the king would, in fact, rule over Israel was not yet come ( Deut 17: 14-15)

Gideon proved himself firm in fidelity to God. Here lay the secret of his resistance. It is better to be a servant and faithful to God than a king and in rebellion against Him.

A man is at his best when he overcomes a great temptation, when he shows the might of magnanimity and humility, and conquers himself. Gideon now reaches the climax of goodness, which is true greatness.

7 KEY LEADERSHIP LESSONS FROM GIDEON..
1. Resist the temptation to hurriedly accept, prolong or extend your dance in leadership. The voice of the few people not always the voice of God. But the voice of conscience directed by the WORD and enlightened by the Holy Spirit is the voice of God. Listen to that voice.

2. Gideon's self-denial. The noblest act is to refuse to.substitute God. You must decrease so that He increases.

3. Gideon's refusal to become king underscores that God is the ultimate ruler. Believers are reminded to submit to God's authority in all areas of life.

4. While human leaders are necessary, they should always point people back to God, acknowledging His supreme authority.

5. Gideon's response warns against personality cults-the idolatry of human leadership, where people place their trust in human beings rather than God.

6. Leaders in nations, church and community should emulate Gideon's initial humility and recognition of God's rule, ensuring their leadership aligns with God's will.

7. Gideon's statement reflects a desire for his legacy to be one of faithfulness to God, #Godisinit a challenge for believers to consider the spiritual legacy they are leaving.
