@47G hosted a seminar in Salt Lake City today announcing Utah as one of 8 states selected for the FAA's Advanced Air Mobility and Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

What does that mean in plain terms? The FAA is actively enabling tomorrow's skyways and vertiports — real infrastructure, real timelines, real commercial operators.

The Jetsons aren't science fiction anymore. They're a regulatory framework.

Here's my opinion - which I can actually support with data, if anyone asks....

Spacetime is a descriptive theory, not a mechanism. What we experience as gravity, I believe, is a result of fluctuations in the vacuum density. These fluctuations are caused by matter, in varying density from voids, to blackholes. The cosmic bookends. The engine for this variation is the tension between the CMB and the vacuum. recent surveys, such as SDSS and eROSITA report quite a variation in the amount of matter throughout the cosmos. It is this "gradient" that we observe as gravity.

Maybe the story is simpler than we think.

What if gravity isn’t emergent, but also isn’t a force — what if it’s simply the vacuum responding to mass? Framed this way, gravity stops being something that “causes” motion and becomes a causal response of the medium itself, much like pressure or stiffness responding to a load. That shift matters, because responses don’t need to be quantized — only the things moving through them do — and suddenly the incompatibility between quantum mechanics and gravity largely evaporates. Quantum theory governs energy exchange and information; gravity governs how the vacuum reacts when that energy exists. As a side effect, the need for dark matter weakens too: in diffuse regions like galactic outskirts, the vacuum’s response changes, effectively strengthening gravity without adding unseen mass, keeping galactic arms from flying apart. No new particles, no exotic forces — just a rethink of what’s actually doing the responding.

Often, complexity is the lack of understanding.
