A video has been circulating on social media accompanied by text stating, “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appeared in a video driving his car, which refutes the account reported by The New York Times regarding the existence of an American – Israeli plan to rely on him to take power after the death of Ali Khamenei."
#The_Truth:
The video clip, which was claimed to show former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently appearing on the streets of Tehran, is old and dates back to 2025, not recent as claimed.
We verified the video by conducting a reverse image search on several frames taken from it, and it turned out that it had previously beenposted by users on social media, as well as on Iranian news sites, on December 1, 2025. The video shows former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attending the funeral of Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei’s sister at the Agha Balasid Mosque in Sadat Shahr, in the province of Ramsar—not a recent appearance, as claimed.

News circulated on social media claiming that "Khamis al-Khanjar has won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in combating terrorism and extremism."
#The_Truth:
The news circulating about Khamis Al-Khanjar winning the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in combating terrorism and extremism is fake news.
We verified the circulating news about Khamis Al-Khanjar winning the Nobel Peace Prize by using keywords in search engines and reviewing Khamis Al-Khanjar’s official accounts to confirm the accuracy of what was being shared on social media. We found no reliable source confirming the accuracy of this news, nor has it been covered by local or international media, confirming that the circulating news is not based on any documented information.
A review of the official Nobel Prize website also showed that the winners of the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize have not yet been announced. and according to the website, the 2026 Nobel Prize announcements will take place between October 5 and 12, 2026, with all announcements broadcast live via the Nobel Foundation’s official digital channels.
This means that the circulating claim regarding Khamis Al-Khanjar winning the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize lacks any credible evidence and contradicts the officially announced schedule for announcing the prize winners.
It is worth noting that the publisher that first shared the news is a satirical political page, which states in its bio that it is a “satirical political page and all news and opinions on it are purely fictional.” However, many other pages and accounts shared the news as if it were true.

A photo has been circulating on social media accompanied by the caption: "Hajj Nour Zuhair completes the Hajj rituals and returns in his private jet."
#The_Truth:
The photo purportedly showing Nour Zuhair al-Muzfar in front of a private jet is fake; it was generated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. As for whether he went on Hajj or returned from it, this could not be verified, as there are no reliable sources to confirm or deny this information.
Upon examining the photo using specialized image analysis tools, the results showed that it is fake and was generated with a high degree of AI technology.
We also conducted a detailed structural and design analysis of the image, focusing on comparing the fixed components of the aircraft’s staircase with real-life footage of a Gulfstream G550, which is likely the model used as the basis for the circulating image. The analysis revealed significant differences and obvious compositional flaws, as well as inconsistencies with the approved engineering designs for this type of aircraft.
Detailed Structural and Design Analysis of the Image
1. Handrail Geometry
The real aircraft: The chrome handrail adheres to the standard design, ending in a straight, defined edge (Straight-edged) at the lower end near the floor, which is the approved structural design to ensure stability and a streamlined appearance.
The handrail appears with a different and geometrically unfamiliar design, appearing longer than usual and extending at its lower end to form a downward-curving loop (Looped design). This excessive curvature is a clear installation error that violates safety standards and the aircraft’s actual structural design.
2. Step Lighting Configuration
Original and Realistic Design: In real aircraft, stair lights are designed to be semi-open (shielded), with the illuminated side directed inward toward the stair surface to provide dim, focused lighting that prevents glare (giving them a crescent-shaped or hidden semi-circular appearance).
The Circulated Image: The circular lights appear completely different, appearing as a full circle (Full circle / Unshielded) and emitting a bright light that floods the entire perimeter of the light, failing to simulate the correct physical distribution of light and shadow found in realistic structural designs.
Based on the aforementioned visual inconsistencies in the railing’s extension and the stairwell’s lighting distribution mechanism, the circulating image underwent advanced technical examination using the SynthID system (a technology developed by Google to identify and track digital content), and the technical examination revealed precise, embedded, and invisible digital watermarks within the file structure, conclusively confirming that the nighttime image is not a real photograph, but rather content generated entirely by generative AI tools (Google Gemini). This software analysis decisively reinforces all visual conclusions and engineering analyses that identified flaws in the simulation of the aircraft’s fine details.

A video has been circulating on social media accompanied by the caption: "Iranians are violating Iraqi sovereignty and storming a border post; scenes from the Zarbatiya crossing show large crowds of Iranian visitors flocking to Iraq to commemorate the Day of Arafat in Karbala."
#The_Truth:
The video, which allegedly shows Iranian visitors storming a border checkpoint at the Zarbatiya crossing to commemorate the Day of Arafah, is old and dates back to 2015 during the Arba’een pilgrimage commemorating Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
We verified the video by conducting a reverse image search on several of its frames and found that it was previously shared by social media users on December 2, 2015. It shows Iranian visitors storming the Zarbatiya border crossing between Iraq and Iran during their visit to commemorate the 40th day of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom (peace be upon him) at that time, and not recently as claimed.
Iraqi authorities also announced at the time that a number of Iranian visitors had attacked and vandalized the border crossing and forcibly entered Iraq after assaulting Iraqi border guards.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on December 1, 2015, that it had conveyed its official protest to Iranian Ambassador Hassan Danaei Far, demanding that Tehran prevent those without entry permits from approaching Iraqi border crossings. Iraq also accused the Iranian authorities of failing to take appropriate measures to prevent such a large number of Iranians from approaching the border crossing.
This video has resurfaced after the Zarbatiya border crossing in Wasit Governorate witnessed large numbers of Iranian visitors arriving to commemorate the Day of Arafat and Eid al-Adha at the holy shrines, as the Day of Arafat is considered one of the holiest days of the year in Islam and falls on the ninth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah.

A video has been circulating on social media accompanied by the caption: "Egyptian player Ahmed Al-Sisi responds by raising the Iraqi flag after defeating the Kurdish Iraqi representative Harda Karim for failing to raise his country’s flag at the ‘Pride of the Arabs’ tournament on the grounds that he is from Kurdistan."
#The_Truth:
The video clip, which allegedly shows Egyptian wrestler Ahmed Al-Sisi raising the Iraqi flag after defeating wrestler Harda Karim, is misleading. It turns out that the video is old and dates back to 2023, following his match against Iraqi wrestler Riad Hamza, not during his match against Harda Karim.
We verified the video by conducting a reverse image search on several frames, and it was found that it was shared by social media users on July 11, 2023. It shows Egyptian wrestler Ahmed El-Sisi raising the Iraqi flag after winning the lightweight title at the “Qadiya” World Championship, following his victory over his Iraqi opponent Riad Hamza. Thus, the video is not recent and does not pertain to his latest fight against the Iraqi wrestler of Kurdish origin, Harda Karim.
Furthermore, looking back at the fight between Ahmed Al-Sisi and Harda Karim, one can notice a difference in the clothing they were wearing compared to what appears in the circulating video. In the misleading video, Ahmed Al-Sisi appears wearing red shorts, whereas he wore silver shorts during his fight with Harda Karim.
This misleading video began circulating after Harda Karim appeared during the weigh-in for the “Pride of the Arabs” tournament, covering the Iraqi flag on his shorts with his hand.

A video clip circulated on social media, accompanied by text stating, "The latest appearance of the former Prime Minister Al-sudani at a Mandi restaurant and his involvement in Al-Hurriya to conduct an advertising campaign for the restaurant."
#The_Truth:
The circulating video, which claims to show former Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani’s latest appearance at a restaurant in the capital Baghdad, is old. It has been circulating since 2023 and was recently reposted as if it were recent.
We verified the video by conducting a reverse image search on several stills taken from it and found images from the same video posted on a TikTok account in August 2023. Upon comparing the stills, it is evident that Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani and the person appearing next to him are wearing the same clothes, and they appear in the same location, confirming that the video is old and not recent.
By comparing the video with the images we found, there is a strong resemblance in terms of the people shown, the clothing, the location, and even background details, suggesting that they were taken during the same event or are clips from a single video that has been circulated and reposted from different angles.
The same elements are also clearly visible, such as the ornate wall, the lanterns, the red chairs, and the table in the background, which reinforces the hypothesis that the images do not belong to separate events, but rather to a single photo shoot.

Furthermore, the analysis revealed several clear spelling and visual indicators of digital manipulation, including:
- The presence of the watermark for Google’s “Gemini” tool.
Irregular words and letters on the meal boxes and napkins, with some text and numbers appearing reversed or illegible, particularly on the small cardboard box in the center of the image.
- The fingers of the hands, particularly the right hand holding the piece of chicken, appear unnatural, with details and textures lacking precise realism.
- The features of the people sitting in the background appear blurred or unnaturally blended with the lighting and surroundings, a common trait in AI-generated images, where the visual focus is solely on the main subject.
