If your iPhone Duo arrives Friday, don't pick at the inner screen. Engadget found the matte layer on it can come off, and nothing during setup tells you to leave it alone. Apple charges $49 to replace it.

@iDownloadBlog the wall version ships with just the display. mount (from $59.95), USB-C cable and a 20W adapter are all extra, at the same $299 as the countertop one. that part I don't love

iPhone 18 Pro parts are in Apple's Self Service Repair store now. The battery is $129, the same price Apple charges to swap it for you.

After the $49 tool rental and the old battery credit, DIY saves $12.92. I'd book the Apple Store.

@LucasBryner3 @zollotech on the Duo, yeah. a cracked inner screen is $99 with AppleCare+ and $999 without it, I wouldn't skip it on a first gen fold

Apple Music drops the red in iOS 27.2. The icon is now a white tile with a black logo, black in Dark Mode, and the selected tab inside the app turns blue.

I'd have kept the red. That icon was the easiest thing to find on a home screen

The iOS 27.2 RC (24B115) still has no Health app redesign. Apple pulled it in beta 4 and says later this year, kind of a bummer if you were testing it.

If you're stuck on hold, tap More on the call screen, then Hold Assist, and put the phone down. Your iPhone pings you when a real person picks up and shows what they said before you got back.

@iMackattack00 @MacRumors haven't put the RC on an Apple TV yet, so I can't say for sure. Apple has it coming as a beta to the 2nd gen and up with 27.2, so if it's still Siri classic after a restart I'd file a Feedback

@MacRumors nothing new for the Watch in any of the 27.2 betas or this RC, it's a bug fix release. the tvOS build is the interesting one, that's where Siri AI lands on Apple TV 4K boxes from 2021 and later

@zollotech 24B115 is the short build format Apple uses for builds it plans to ship, so this is probably it. still no Health redesign though, Apple's only saying later this year
