Unlike the initial version of Alan Wake II, it seems that Remedy is shipping CONTROL Resonant with a Dual-Path Geometry Pipeline which was introduced in Alan Wake II patch 1.0.16.1. IIRC.
This would allow GTX 10 or RDNA 1 owners to enjoy the game from the get go, hopefully 🤞.
@Silicon_Fly An Intel biased account telling us not to trust a Korean account that "allegedly" has biased views towards Samsung, maybe both of you should dial down the bias and provide moderate takes...
@madness727 You got your account back, that's great. Thought we lost you forever lol, about the RAM they are great but too bad they gonna be super expensive still. Enjoy your Computex trip mate.
@Zed__Wang The only problem is being DDR5 only, otherwise it would've been the perfect successor as the "5700X3D" of the newest platform, i remember that one hitting some great price tags on AliExpress at some point.
@Charcharo The abysmal AO on Dunia still haunts me to this day, but in all honesty this one and FC3 were held back by the consoles of the era. Ubisoft would've provided a better versions if these games were PC first, but sadly they were not.
Key takeaways from our #007FirstLight review:
- Looks pretty good
- DLSS 4.5 is all in
- FSR 4 is out (not upgradable from 3.1.5)
- DLSS performance issues
- FSR/TAA image quality issues
great game vs. not so great/controversial tech

@Charcharo@beyond_fps No one marketed that shit more than Nvidia did and still does, those idiots literally had it on a graph against older gen cards... That's their greatest sin to date. Some people are simply defending this tech because Nvidia came out with it first.
@unikoshardware He's having 2 case fans blasting air directly to the GPU cooler, wonder how well it would perform in a normal case configuration though.
@mpr_reviews We kept pointing that the X70 tier is gimped since the RTX40 launch heck i would say since Ampere, but some consumers will buy it anyways. I blame the people justifying these types of products, the cycle will never break as long as that's a thing.
