The problem is that you have lunatics who are always going to say it’s because of their sexuality. This can be difficult for employers to argue. Because of this, employers have very strict policies around terminating employees. This increases the burden on managers to spend a lot more time managing employee performance, makes companies less productive, and forces others to pick up slack for their colleagues who should’ve been fired. This is why it’s better to just not have these laws. I don’t think it’s fair to fire someone because of their sexuality, but honestly in the rare instance someone does get fired because of it, that workplace is probably not the best for them anyway.
@MAGAMORONS2026@GuntherEagleman Why would anyone need a right to not be fired? Everyone gets fired. It’s how business works. Giving someone special treatment because of their sexual preference is actually homophobic. When we start giving people special treatment, it means they are less equal to their peers.
@Suzierizzo1 What do her children have to do with this ruling other than “being Haitian”? It’s crazy how leftists only see everyone in terms of their race. They are by far the most racist people on earth.
@Breeauna9@ScottPresler The SAVE America Act is much bigger than you. The fact you think this has anything to do with South Dakota at all is laughable. Scott Pressler has done more to represent republicans in this country than Thune has ever done, yet Thune somehow is Senate Leader.
@FredLambert If Tesla is to blame, then so is every single auto manufacturer that has a cruise control feature. Do we take away the ability to step on the gas when those vehicles have cruise control enabled? The functionality is no different.
It’s amazing that Democrats hate capitalists whose work contributes to the betterment of our society.
But a corrupt greedy politician that participates in insider trading, milking the taxpayer for their own selfish desires? And someone who fights against uncovering fraud?
Well, they don’t care. As long as Khanna speaks out against Trump they are willing to accept the deception. Willfully.
@BubbaGump0523@damintoell@cb_doge@grok explain to Skeet the ethics complaints against Khanna and the suspicious family stock trading consistent with insider trading.
BREAKING: Elon Musk just called out Ro Khanna over insider trading. Ro Khanna’s family made millions trading stocks while he helped regulate many of the same industries.
• More than 38,000 trades have been linked to his household since he entered Congress
• The total trading volume is reported to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars, with some years exceeding $100 million
• A 239-page ethics complaint filed in 2026 alleges conflicts of interest, suspicious trading patterns, and hundreds of disclosure violations
• Critics say there were more than 600 late stock trade disclosures
• A 2022 investigation identified 149 potential conflicts where family trades overlapped with companies under congressional scrutiny
• His family’s accounts reportedly traded defense, healthcare, energy, and technology companies while Congress was making decisions affecting those sectors
• Critics allege some trades occurred around major legislative votes, regulatory actions, and corporate events
• Financial records showed continued trading of fossil fuel and defense stocks despite public calls to divest
• The assets were held through family trusts rather than a qualified blind trust
Khanna says he does not control the trades and that the assets are managed by an independent family trust.
The American people deserve answers and full transparency.
@damintoell@cb_doge Your post is exactly why most people do not consider Democrats very bright. It’s like something breaks in their brain when trying to process information.
@eth_apple@Polymarket lol funny they never mention over-the-air recalls when it comes to Tesla itself. But Waymo, well they want to make it very clear it’s not a physical recall.
