Often politicians speak as if there are huge empty private hospitals full of staff waiting to help, this is not the case.
It is a choice where we put our money.

The private sector lacks the capacity to save us. Only the NHS has the capacity. It just needs funding properly, instead of being asset stripped.
With record waiting lists more and more people are paying to skip the queue. But they could be skipping vital safeguards too.
