@lamasai108@palefox@SpeedyCheetoman@WildSentences Funny enough there’s this concept in sociology called “difference in opinion” where different people share different opinions. For example, 18 is considered an adult in the US and in Japan it’s 20. Regardless, that story is fake anyway
@marimbalex27@Andr3jH I’m confused how this would be an act of inferiority. Do you think the ape is thinking “yeah I’m dominating you right now?” This is more just disgusting than an act of degradation
@W0LFST4R__@Page496806471@itsjonsbtw@TumblingCoconut@tyl0saur You’re not expressing your thoughts thoroughly. The push and pull between antagonist and protagonist IS the conflict. However, main conflict needs to be elaborated on. In a story with a series of conflicts, antagonists can live outside of the “main” conflict.
@W0LFST4R__@Page496806471@itsjonsbtw@TumblingCoconut@tyl0saur So in the specific fields words have unique meanings. For example, in physics “work” means something completely different from what “work” means in the business world. You have to look up what antagonist means in literary narratives.
@TheChocoboRacer@NadaWha58125@tyl0saur Of course I did. I just thought I was missing something considering you were so confident. Every single website I see says Rodion Raskolnikov is the antihero protagonist. Which leads me to my next question. Are you conflating being an antihero with antagonist?
@cherryymya@W_Drazmon@IAmBeastBoy@odilianne@chop7times Well yeah man that’s obnoxious behavior. Of course you disagree with that guy’s point because you actively engage in the behavior he calls obnoxious lol. It’s not about your right to do something. It’s about whether you should and most people would agree you shouldn’t
@rottingtitss@internetguy63@alcibiades5410@Zack_James94 Knowing a second language is larping? Brother my entire profile is me responding to American issues and discussion centered around America. You’re coping really hard right now
@cherryymya@W_Drazmon@IAmBeastBoy@odilianne@chop7times Closests friends ≠ strangers you’ve never met. Social context changes the bounds of acceptable and unacceptable behavior. You’re friends with them so that’s fine. Voicing negative opinions to strangers who are not antagonizing you is not
@cherryymya@W_Drazmon@IAmBeastBoy@odilianne@chop7times Ok yeah sports probably wasn’t the best example to use cause that’s pretty common actually, but let’s say you heard someone say they think Drake is a great rapper and you walk up to them and say “Drake is super trash”. Everyone would look at you like you’re crazy
