Australian immigration data. I've seen conflicting takes on this. Here I summarize what we see in the ABS data.

Below: immigration & natural growth numbers and immigration as % of natural growth (right).

* Immigration was similar to natural growth rate, on average, for the > 40 years prior to covid.
* Since 2022, immigration has been > 350% of the natural population growth rate.

Indeed! If cigarettes cost less than vapes, people would be having a cigi now and then instead of puffing vape continuously. Probably better to smoke. Also gov intervention in markets like this is dumb and has caused the predictable outcomes. How is abs getting the illicit data too? I wonder on the accuracy of that...

Epitaxial growth in a microwave CVD reactor is how the good stuff is grown. 1% CH4 in H2, > 900 W @ 2.4 GHz uWave rad. coupled in via waveguide. It's essentially a microwave oven on steroids. If gas environment ultra-pure and using high quality seed SCD, negligble impurities & crystal dislocations can be obtained. EBIE rates scale with SE yield. For carbon, SE yields peak around 1 keV , so EBIE rates are fastest around there. Beam quality typically degrades below 5 keV so for most SEM's best to use about 5 kV. If you have access to a SEM with H2O GIS or an ESEM, you can go ahead and put in your engagement ring and engrave a nanoscale romantic message to your love! She won't see s**t with naked eye, so you'll have to be like trust me babes, the message is there.
