Cutting off essential services like electricity should be a fucking criminal offence. What these electricity department MFs have done should be more than enough reason to fire every single one of these assholes responsible. Show some spine, @NayabSainiBJP !
Fire these people, bring qualified professionals from other states, and initiate criminal proceedings against every official responsible for holding the public hostage. Who the fuck gave these government employees the right to make thousands of people suffer for days, leaving them without electricity, internet, or even a way to charge their phones?
Government jobs are not a fucking license to harass the public! These people are public servants, not kings or dictators who can bring an entire city to its knees whenever they feel like it. Take strict action against them and set an example so that every sarkari babu thinks twice before pulling this kind of bullshit again. Enough is enough!
@SandeepMall Factory owners who can afford should go for hybrid solar. It saves electricity and also saves your factory from such power cuts, at least during the day if you don't install large enough batteries.
@theenergypundit I think large commercial solar and solar farms should be mandated to install some amount of BESS to either supply their own consumption during peak hours or export during the initial solar power supply drop when thermal power plants slowly pick up the load.
The solar plant is on and powering the factory! It makes enough power during the day to power the whole factory itself for almost all of the time. Need to clean the panels now as they haven't been cleaned for a month after they got installed.
@jasonvonholmes You can say almost completely. The solar panels can generate enough power to fulfill the needs during the day, and the batteries manage to supply partial power during the evening and early morning, but the system still takes some power from the grid.
@RohitChan666 The solar plant has started only a few days ago and net-metering is still pending, so it is only generating the power which can be used by us and not exporting at all. The 50kWp panels which haven't been cleaned for a month are generating ~140 kWh each day.
@theenergypundit I run a few GPU servers in the factory office which benefit from the power backup as well as the power management with the help of the battery to reduce consumption during the peak hours as much as possible.
@theenergypundit Yes. A 30kWh battery powers all the loads during the morning peak hours and gets charged with solar as the sun comes up. Then, it partially powers loads during the late-evening peak hours from 8 to 10pm and then charges from the grid in the night off-hours for the next morning.
