If you've also been affected by Microsoft's decision to suddenly retire O365 connectors in teams, upvote this feedback and hopefully the product team will take notice https://t.co/pGkLcChO5N
@vanhybrid@magrom@rucam365 QQ - We're moving to FIDO2 keys for all our admin/priv accounts. But for breakglass the standard is to use a different factor. I'm concerned of the complexity of authenticator over conventional password, TOTP etc. any thoughts/advice?
The Toronto Maple Leafs salary cap situation was so bad they just lost a 2-time Stanley Cup winner in goal for the next month and it might be the best thing for them.
great, now apple just has to convince all android users to install apple's software to protect themselves against malicious uses of apple's hardware that they didn't even buy. i wonder what apple plans to do for people without smart phones
Microsoft: 'Hey look at all these great new features in Teams for hybrid meetings!'
Me: 'sounds great, can we start using them?'
Also Microsoft: 'THE FUCK YOU CAN. THOSE ARE ROADMAP FOR 2022'
Just been asked if I know any UK IT resellers I could recommend by a colleague here in DE.
Said I definitely know one or two but recommendation is another matter......
Still seeing so many UK companies insisting on having all employees office based again (for all or part of the week), despite everything. Feels incredibly tone deaf.
@BamieJurke That said, since joining my new firm I've been impressed by how we jump into those types of casual creative chats organically, especially in the product chapter. Culturally it's encouraged to grab time & a coffee and just chat with each other. (not as as hoc though cos video etc)
@BamieJurke Yeah I'd agree with that, and I think long term most people who are able to will come in the office a few days a week for that creativity, collaboration etc. I think making attendance mandatory though is an overstep, and brings its own issues.
@Rich_Gibbons Well now I don't know WHO to believe! A wide cohort of people from diverse backgrounds, or the CEO of a loss making office space rental firm financed with Saudi blood money. 🤔🤔 It's a puzzler alright.
It's been less than a WEEK since I had to defend my teams' use of Azure to the mainly AWS company. And it goes and shits itself again. Fantastic. This better be a bloody nation state attack.
Hubspot and Salesforce (as well as Microsoft) are rapidly competing to move from CRM into 'Enterprise OS' CRM/ERP convergence is the name of the game. Also keep an eye on ServiceNow!
This generation of LOB tools repositioning to the 'everything engine' that drives business is🔥
I bet HubSpot will successfully reframe CRM as THE tool that unifies marketing, sales and service. And even salesforce will be playing catch-up, especially in the mass-market. Their smaller competitors will be years behind. This is how HubSpot sprints ahead of the competition.
Imagine being so sexist you marginalise women at the detriment of your own organisation? Like you go 'nah this dull white man can definitely get the job done cos he went to the right school' even when your pay is linked to company performance? Elevate women, secure the bag, DUH.
are you in sales? has the absence of face-to-face meetings changed how you sell — ie, can you close a deal on Zoom?
