@The0neulost I’m fairly sure larger businesses like insurance do actually use some of those post-interaction surveys as performance metrics. They might do dumb things like “anything less than an 8 out of 10 is considered a bad review” or something, though.
@chippel@RobertGReeve Pretty much. I’ve had players be insulting or illogical while trying to convince an NPC of something, then get indignant at their negative response and demand a roll instead. If theres a reroll mechanic they can use it, but typically the result you RP’d into is the one you get.
@CelestineSteel I had something like that happen. Used to watch a YouTube guy take apart tools and stuff. Seemed very rational, valued experience and training. Made points about how dangerous stuff could be if you don’t know what you’re doing.
@CelestineSteel Then he went all “who are these science people and doctors to tell me I ought to get a vaccine?!” and responded really badly to anyone suggesting that experience and training matter, and stuff you don’t know about can be dangerous.
