Are we morally obliged to keep feeding people who can’t feed themselves but continue to reproduce, creating exponentially more people who can’t feed themselves, and if so, is there a limiting principle to this?
@Rezoony_@EthanLevins2 Could be, could be. Either way unbecoming of a man parading around as a wise legal/foreign policy expert 😂Bro has to get control of his hysterical emotions. Heck just for his own health. Retire at this point to.
Dante's Divine Comedy is a mirror for art. Himself a poet, being guided by a poet, meeting poets, learning how art led some to hell, is the cause of purgation for others in purgatory, Dante is exploring the eternal destiny that art really does have on souls. Art is powerful.
@StallionCornell First Blood was amazing, thought its message about PTSD was delivered wonderfully. Made Rambo so human and relatable. Nice character beat the only death in the film is an accident, and Rambo even while pushed still holds back.
Liberalism and the enlightenment was the attempt to erase the tribe from the human psyche. But the men who invented liberalism were themselves outliers in intellect and didn’t understand the Christianity that coursed through their unconscious though they consciously rejected it. When they attempted to apply their philosophy onto the world, and to a world that was not only intellectually inferior, but was teeming with the demons that Christ had not yet exorcised from their societies, their experiment of liberalism failed spectacularly. In fact, the cost was paid to the tune of millions of innocent children dead and raped, cities becoming uninhabitable and mankind’s best accomplishments being trampled under ungrateful feet to the beat of “reparations and anti racism”. Because to the rest of the world, tribe is the air they breathe. And even if you don’t believe in it, your enemies do.
Israel in theory is a little pet dog of a country, kept on a leash by the great power that is the US. If they want to sit at the big boys table, become independent. Or or ... Maybe stop acting like violent warmongers in Lebanon. Show a little respect to the other parties, and you might just get treated with some respect back!
@marklevinshow You literally recommended instead of a protracted ground war, using nukes on Iran ... Sit this one out Micro Mark. Laughable you trying to argue that you care about the Iranian people in the least.
@JoshuaLisec The dream of Arkham Asylum brought to life must happen! Capture the big Yahu in a Net, and throw him in the same cell in the Metropolitan detention center with Maduro, Diddy and Luigi Mangione.
@Peoples_Pundit Seriously ... We want to lecture other nations on how they conduct themselves. While we got Fauci roaming free? Got to get our own house in order.
Thanks to @TulsiGabbard, we now know for certain why @JoeBiden gave Anthony Fauci a pardon.
From this point on, the only time we should refer to him as a "doctor" is when we call him "Dr. Death".
The man is literally a mass murderer.
The core reason our society is collapsing is because of global decadence. I believe this is the root of our problems.
Anyone who has read the Old Testament would know that the early Israelites fell into a recurring cycle. They would win significant battles or experience prosperity, then turn to idol worship. Because they abandoned their faith, God would punish them through military defeat, bad rulers, or even captivity in Babylon.
This same cycle is found not just in the Bible, but in every area of life. Think of a sports team, musician, or public figure who achieved outsized success only to succumb to laziness, complacency, and abandoning what got them there.
As humans, we have a tendency to become complacent during good times. Decadence creeps in, and instead of focusing on civilization building and the future, people chase pleasures. Once the people of a civilization disregard the future, they’ve pretty much dug their own grave. The Romans learned this the hard way.
Today is no exception…
The Pax Americana brought about an era of peace and prosperity that may never be seen again. Because of this, the world has also become the most decadent it has ever been.
It’s this decadence that has allowed us to neglect the future while introducing pernicious ideas. Ideas like feminism, postmodernism, secular humanism, and more. If decadence is what weakens our civilizational immune system, these foundational frameworks are the disease.
The symptoms are what we see today: hookup culture, instant gratification, sexual depravity, wealth inequality, lower birth rates, extreme hypergamy, etc. But like an infected organism, if symptoms go untreated, you risk death.
But many people today still can’t see the symptoms or the disease. Our modern era has essentially given us soma through technology, suppressing our drive to fight back.
Only when normies lose their comforts will we see things change. Once the bread and circuses are gone, people won’t have a choice but to wake up.
Only then can healing begin.
Agree. I was critical of Vance for not pushing back more publicly (privately he did) on the Iran war. But he has shown his backbone and willingness to stand up now to the worst elements with this deal. Man is a true political talent, hopefully this recent Neocon backlash to him will only give him more cred amongst the young right and a path to victory!
I can't help but be reminded of the political response to Covid. A small portion of the right, saw the dangers of gov overreach and the issues with the official narrative early on. Instead they got pushed aside for the worst elements of the right. And their response failed. Just so happens to be similar people to those that pushed the Iran conflict. If we claim to be a meritocracy as a country, why do we keep following the bad actors advice like the Levins and Shapiros? We must reward those who were right to call this conflict out on the right early on, like Joe Kent.
