@windowsinsider I'd love to get a build this week for fp. In fact, wouldn't it be great if we could get even more frequent builds at the trade off of a little less stability for more technical users? https://t.co/ki2yJydhU7
@Truth_Seeker250@aaronp613 Yes, I know, but a leak this big is catastrophic for Apple since they hate when things leak. They usually scrub everything clean, so leaks of this scale, even just code names, are still extremely rare, especially this many in one update.
To be honest, I’d love for future platforms to get more frequent builds in general. I like the new program structure, but that is the number one change I’d really like to see.
@XenoPanther That’s interesting. I wonder what’s going on there. It’ll be curious to see if experimental future platforms get this branch soon on the client side and what’s going on with RS_pre-release? Surely not another jump already.
@zollotech Interesting. Possibly an RC then? Unless they’re rolling it out gradually over the next few hours and into tomorrow, possibly? In any case it doesn’t affect me personally. I’m just glad they finally woke up and remembered that iOS 27 needed a fifth beta lol.
Apple has finally released iOS 27 beta five after a three week gap! Here’s a slight wording change in software update straight out of the gate. I guess this is technically part of beta four though but still worth noting
@iDeviceHelpus The fact that it’s still not out is actually quite worrying. To me that implies that there is a major issue that they are trying to fix I think we might be in for a buggy beta when it comes out.
@phantomofearth@viewlessnetwork@stanchers Possibly this week or next, then depending on when release preview gets 26H2. If I remember correctly it was around this time last year 25H2 hit release preview and Dev jumped from 26200 to 26220.
@zollotech I’ll take the risk. To be honest I’ve done it for years at this point and I have only ever had to restore any of my devices once and it wasn’t even a first beta it was iOS 18 beta 5.
