@CPyles8 It may be recency bias, but for my $, this was 1 of the most iconic calls in the history of American wrestling. With Bassett vs Woods off the card, which series gives you a gut feeling that it could end up being as big of a moment as this one was?
@SpeyWrestle Leave the scores/results blurred unless you toggle off to see them. The problem is if you use the brackets to get to match videos, you can't help but see the results before you click to watch the matches.
The RAF equivalent of college football and basketball players leaving school early to declare for the draft. We're going to see a lot more of this as the years progress. I'm cool with it.
2024 Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blades posted on social media that she will not return to the University of Iowa to complete her eligibility but will train in Iowa City. She will pursue her Olympic dreams and join Real American Freestyle. Blades won national titles at 160 in 2025 and 2026.
Jayden is just different. The crazy thing is conventional logic would suggest he hasn't even peaked yet. There's a world that exists where Jayden James is far better 2 years from now than he already is today. That should give a lot of people anxiety.

Jayden James is the first 17 year old since Bo Bassett to make the US U20 World Team. He'll be a strong medal contender this August at the UWW U20 World Wrestling Championships in Batislava Slovakia.
Aaron Seidel is a dog. The list of guys who have beaten Elijah Cortez twice is pretty short. We're talking about his own brother, Bo Bassett, Jordyn Raney, Vince Bouzakis, Otto Black & Maximus Brady. Pretty sure that's it going back to U14 days. Seidel just did it twice in 1 day.

Today is a happy day, but emotionally I'm all over the place. I am grateful to Coach Veres for bringing me in so close and allowing me to be a small part of this team. 8 seasons = 3× PIAA Tournament Team State Champions + a slew of runner-up & 3rd place Dual/Tournament finishes.
@MrPatMineo Truck's fans should naturally be referred to as The Truckers. That being said, what a great kid he is. He's focused, he's polite, he doesn't get in trouble and he displays a ton of gratitude for everyone and everything around him. Tucker is solid.
@InfaWrest I would say it's more a matter of lacking elite depth at the HS level. Pretty sure scholarship breakdowns used to show guys who projected as HWTs & career 125s were the most likely to receive funding, especially full rides.
