I was 16 when Jaylen got drafted and I’m 26 now. Through the best and worst moments of my young adult life I could turn on the TV and count on #7 to absolutely detonate on someone at the rim.
Watching him grow from a promising prospect, to a rising star, to an All Star/All-NBA talent was *extremely* cool.
It was 10 amazing, frustrating, exciting, ugly, beautiful, disappointing, fulfilling years. Not always perfect, but it wasn’t supposed to be.
That ring in ‘24 brought a perfect closure to the story for me even if it didn’t quite end there.
I feel some sadness with the end of an era.. but not dread. I enjoyed this journey thoroughly and didn’t take it for granted.
It’s so nasty all the NEGATIVE things I’m seeing people say about Jaylen Brown!!! I don’t care how yall talk about bros game, it’s all opinion based anyway! Please stay away from talking about the PERSON and his character!!!! He’s real as they come! Don’t get it twisted people
JAYLEN BROWN FOR WHO??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Jaylen Brown seemingly talking about his “favorite season” quote:
“The leader behind that was ESPN. ESPN is unethical.. Stephen A Smith is the head and face of that. The organization, the players, they were all in agreeaance. They all knew what I meant by that. Our team, it was basically salary dumped. We lost a lot of players. For us to emerge and still be in the same position…”
