13 Y/o Linux wizard revived a 16 year old Compaq Presario CQ40 to 0.00% CPU @31 degree Celsius | Hardcore Software Engineering for @Apple, @Brave & @Tesla.
Just logged a 10.7-hour (38,750s) coding streak on my 16-year-old Compaq. ๐System hit a critical 95.0ยฐC (ACPI)โthe motherboard was literally melting, but the code didn't stop! ๐ป๐ก๏ธ 2GB RAM and a Celeron processor pushing beyond human limits. Building the future on 2008 hardware.
@adahstwt 8 because it was something very much modern and futuristic for me which other didn't like I don't know that why as the tiles were cool according to that time....
@Pallavi_345 Actually I am trying to reverse engineer and make out of the box drivers for MacBook also in my OS-in-development so I would need both , ThinkPad for making and MacBook for testing #BuildInPublic
I am starting a new project named Lutika OS: An Operating system which would be based Arch Linux which would be modern, simple and futuristic and would be able to run on machines with only 2 Gigs of RAM !!! Stay tuned !! #BuildinPublic#OpenSource@hackclub@zachlatta
Finally completed the first longest coding streak on Hackatime of 3 hours 49 minutes by toiling hard on the black box that should not be named (Terminal). Now there's no need of local tracker as finally I can have my time tracked and stored on the cloud.๐ #HackClub#ZachLatta
@Pallavi_345 Alright, so I think that 4 Gigs of ram is enough although I use linux and an old laptop from 2009 era and it has 2 gigs of RAM and it's working pretty well and I am practicing Swift from browser and I use Sublime Text with Javascript and Python.
10-HOUR STREAK DONE! ๐ฆ๐ฅ36,120s of deep work on a 15yo Compaq. ๐๐ฆพโข Phoenix Eyes: Logic Active. ๐๏ธโข Audio Hack: Sony Bravia synced via BT for alerts. ๐บ๐โข Thermals: CPU at 32ยฐC after 10 hours. โ๏ธLogic over hardware. SFO, see you soon! โ๏ธ#ProjectPhoenix#MissionSFO
One RAM stick dead, but the hustle is ALIVE! ๐ฆ๐ฅRevived both slots with surgical cleaning. Back on the original HDD (bad sectors can't stop me). Fan is finally silent & the 2GB 'Guru' is back in action. ๐ฅทโจ

@yabsssai@hackclub Thanks for noticing! I believe complex logic is only as good as its simplest explanation. Tomorrow's hardware 'surgery' is the keyโonce the machine is silent, the real building begins. Stay tuned! ๐ฆ ๐ฅ
Project Phoenix: The Rebirth (Day 2) ๐ฆ ๐ฅ100+ views on the logic! Now it's time for the hardware to keep up. ๐My 16-year-old 'Guru' (Compaq CQ40) is going for surgery. The 180-300 hour coding marathon starts as soon as the fan goes silent.#BuildinPublic#HackClub@hackclub
Phoenix Eyes Day 1: Guru (Compaq) cried! ๐จ One RAM slot died & HDD started making tractor noises. ๐ But a hacker never stops! Ditching HDD for a silent 16GB SD Card boot. Tuesday is the comeback. You are NOT ready for this! ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ #ProjectPhoenix#HackClub#Swift#BuildInPublic
The Phoenix has risen! ๐๐ฅ
Witness a 16-year-old Compaq Presario CQ40 booting up with an Apple logo. ๐ ๏ธ๐
196 Bad Sectors on HDD
Single Core Celeron
426 Terminal Commands
Idle at 32ยฐC ๐ก๏ธ

I built a Privacy Shield that blocks 15 trackers โ like Instagram, TikTok, and more.
It runs on my 17-year-old Compaq with Zorin Lite.
Iโm 13 โ and Iโm building tools that matter.
