@CountyChamp And the run out. He's one of the best fielders in the game. Has been for over 7-8 years. Should have got alot more T20 cricket for that alone.
@clemserrell Noooooo waayyyyyyy, huge congratulations Clem. Amazing news. Can't wait to see @PhilipSerrell and the big wedding he will no doubt put on!!!!!
@frankwatson58@WG_RumblePants I heard you hit a lot of sixes at Old Hill back in the day!!! Not as many away from home though! Hope you are well and looking forward to hearing you again this summer
@gregwright03 @MikeeeeeT @bigbono85 @SamWhitney_10 It's closer than you think but agree. For me though the long term solution is more local competitive cricket. Strong competitive local prems I think will help keep people playing cricket and for longer.
@bigbono85 @MikeeeeeT @gregwright03@BridgnorthCC@SamWhitney_10 The club can still thrive in the Shropshire leagues Jono. Can still produce good youngsters then help them on their way to bigger clubs like Shifnal or Shrewsbury.......
@bigbono85 @MikeeeeeT @BridgnorthCC@SamWhitney_10 Totally agree, I played for kiddy, didn't bat or bowl but just wanted to be part of the 1st team. But times have changed.
@gregwright03 @bigbono85 @MikeeeeeT @BridgnorthCC@SamWhitney_10 Shrop clubs are very strong, great grounds. Always seen players move Shrop clubs tho. Probably because of that. The less travel time is a huge factor now. If playing Brum league isn't attracting players & you are not willing to pay anymore, maybe feeder league is the best option!
