Transverse Myelitis sufferer. Spreading awareness/raising funds after full paralysis in '18. No longer paralysed - stuck with many problems. Main:@feckingpsycho
It's 2 months now until I make my next attempt to cycle up Mont Ventoux non-stop. For those who have not followed my story; I failed last year due to a combination of effects of transverse myelitis on my body (although I did get to the top 4 days later). My efforts...cont'd...
@SteveFlemingM9 Progressing day by day Steve. The knee is good - with the swelling down substantially - and feeling pretty strong. Weight slowly going down too. Will be making a decision about Ventoux (all three ascents in a day/week) at the end of March. 🤞
There's a reason my name on here is Ted with TM - so I make no apology for talking about it! 5 years to the day (19th October) since I was wheeled in to hospital in Kyoto, Japan and diagnosed (within 5 hours) with #transversemyelitis . It's incredible how time has passed... 1/6
@DrBalsamAhmad @sarah16107480 Knee replacement tomorrow Balsam...another spin-off of the TM! Still got to get my left eye sorted too, but I'm struggling on. Having a battle with DWP over PIP but that's insignificant at the mo' as there's a lot of healing to do in the next few weeks! Hope all's well with you.
