@grazyfarmer Fully agree. Quite a few numbers here so will be interesting to see how the cidr works on our heifers that were 10-20 kgs under.

@grazyfarmer First time here too. Vet tells us gold standard is 80 %..... But not going come close to that given our spring over here very late turn out. 70% and we would be very happy.

@grazyfarmer Same here. Did it with the lighter heifers. Used half sexed straws on the mob conventional on the rest. 🙈 Our ai techs were really happy with how they felt at insemination. They do another farm that uses a 5 day program, reckons 7 day is they way to go.

312 bred with 88 left to AI. 200 heifers were AI'd using CIDRs the other 200 currently on a PG program. Half of each program receiving sexed semen the other receiving conventional. Bulls in after 24hrs. Results will be interesting 🤔
