The Ford government wants to fast-track mining projects, but who's going to build them? Ontario's mining future depends on rebuilding its workforce, and that starts with investing in the next generation of skilled workers. #onpoli
Honoured to have the support of Asif Syed, the Former Outreach Secretary, Federal Liberal Riding of Mississauga–Streetsville.
Positive change in Ontario begins with people believing that change is possible – a belief built through organizing.
For years, Asif has been involved with grassroots organizing and volunteer mobilization within the Ontario Liberal Party, playing a huge role in the 2022 provincial election and beyond.
He knows what it takes to bring communities together to win elections. And with his support, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Thank you, Asif. Let's get to work. https://t.co/58ZJtq9DcN
Grades should measure learning, not life's obstacles. The Ford government’s new attendance grading policy raises questions about fairness and student success.

In Richmond Hill, I had a wonderful afternoon with local Liberals discussing OSAP, gambling advertising, healthcare and more. The PLAs across the province are where the work is already starting for the next election - it’s so energizing to see the initiative and commitment to making change in Ontario.
I’m honoured to have the endorsement of John Wilkinson, former Ontario MPP and Minister of the Environment, Revenue, and Research and Innovation.
John worked to strengthen Ontario’s economy, support innovation, and protect the environment, while ensuring rural communities had a strong voice at Queen’s Park.
His commitment to building opportunity across every region, and bringing people together reflects the Ontario we are working to build.
Thank you, John.

If you're consistently spending more than you planned, you weren't prepared in the first place.
Year after year, the Ford government plays catch-up, leaving frontline firefighting crews without the resources they need.

We trust long-term care homes with our most vulnerable loved ones. They deserve strong oversight and real accountability to ensure safe, quality care.

I’m honoured to have the endorsement of Alvin Curling, former Ontario MPP, cabinet minister, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Canada’s former Ambassador to the Dominican Republic.
As Minister of Housing, he expanded rent control protections and advanced significant investments in affordable housing across Ontario.
For decades, Alvin has been a tireless advocate for marginalized communities, leading important work to address youth violence.
His lifelong commitment to strengthening our democracy, advancing opportunities for young people, and helping Ontarians achieve the dream of homeownership reflects the Ontario we know is possible.

Global News has obtained the 2018 mandate letters Premier Doug Ford gave his cabinet ministers.
The main letter demands high ethical standards among cabinet ministers, with a promise the premier would hold them “personally” accountable.

Grateful to have @j_maloney's support.
James has represented Etobicoke—Lakeshore in Ottawa since 2015 and now serves as National Chair of the federal Liberal caucus. A proven leader and fighter, he knows what it takes to win, and he's backing this campaign to rebuild an Ontario Liberal Party that can do exactly that.
Thank you, James. Let's get to work. https://t.co/58ZJtq9DcN
Nobody is arguing against spending what's needed during an emergency.
The question is why Ontario continues to budget below what recent fire seasons have required when we know these emergencies are becoming more frequent and more complex.
Budgets are about preparedness. Emergency spending is about catching up (and you end up spending more in the long run).
@fordnation I think you are missing the point of why everyone is so upset.

It might be "frustrating" that you and your government got caught.
Premier, you always say the "buck stops with me," so what about the other 19 MPPs in your government who spent more than $100k on hotels?
#onpoli
NEW: Premier Doug Ford “apologizes” for the Minister / MPP hotel expense scandal and says it was “frustrating”
On MPP Cho: “Stan stepped down and he did the right thing and paid everything back.”
Ford was asked whether he’s asked any other cabinet minister to step down - he doesn’t respond.

The stories coming out of Northern Ontario are absolutely devastating. Families forced to flee by boat, homes gone, and Collins First Nation is destroyed.
As these communities face unimaginable loss, they need immediate support.
Every day without adequate support leaves people without housing, critical infrastructure, health care , and the resources they need to recover.
Leadership means preparing for climate-related emergencies, investing in emergency preparedness, and responding with urgency.
Thank you to the firefighters, emergency responders, and volunteers working tirelessly to keep people safe.
