As the spring session at Queen's Park draws to a close, I'm reflecting on a transformative eight weeks. We've introduced practical legislation to protect Ontario's economy and keep our communities safe, including Bill 119, the Protecting Ontario's Streets and Communities Act.

As I mark the fourth anniversary of my election, I remain as grateful as ever for the trust the people of York Centre have placed in me. It is a privilege to serve them, and I will continue working every day to deliver results for our community and for Ontario.

Ontarians are saying that online gambling ads are out of control and they want it to stop. People see how these ads are fueling the gambling addiction crisis happening around them.

The Conservatives had the chance to ban these ads, but they sided with the industry and voted down my Bill.

I will work across the aisle and with anyone who is serious about eliminating iGaming ads preying on people.

Conversations included infrastructure and logistics investment to strengthen the pork sector value chain, and the importance of enhancing food security with risk management programs that are more responsive to protect farms, animals and the supply chain.

Transparency isn’t optional in a democracy.

It is no secret that Doug Ford’s private cell phone is connected to the Greenbelt development controversy.

What we don’t know is who was calling and what those conversations were because the Ford Conservatives have spent years and public resources fighting to keep them secret.

With repeated rulings against him, Ford's Conservatives did what no government should be able to do - rewrite laws to protect themselves.

The message is clear: government business conducted on a personal phone is still government business. The only thing standing in the way of transparency is Doug Ford himself.
