When a pregnant woman exercises her large muscle groups, like her leg muscles during walking, running, or cycling, studies suggest her offspring can later show better spatial learning and memory, along with greater hippocampal resilience to stress.
Exercise is highly beneficial for pregnant women, and several studies highlight the associated benefits for their babies as well. One study found a small cognitive advantage at age 4 in children whose mothers exercised during pregnancy, about 0.22 standard deviations. 1 SD = 15 IQ points, and so the difference would be around 3.3 IQ points more for the exercising mother.
One older, very small study of 20 women who continued vigorous exercise throughout pregnancy, found that at age 5, their children averaged 125 versus 116 on Wechsler scores, a 9-point difference.
There was a demographic problem 2,200 years ago, and Polybius wrote exactly what caused it. Read carefully:
"In our times, Greece as a whole is experiencing a lack of children and, more generally, a decrease in population. Because of this, cities have become deserted and there is a lack of productivity, even though we do not suffer from constant wars or epidemics. So if someone advised that we send priests to the gods to ask them what we should say or do to become more numerous and better inhabit our cities, he would not seem foolish, since the cause is obvious and the solution lies in our own hands.
People have turned to arrogance, greed, and laziness, and they neither want to marry, nor, if they do marry, to raise their children. Instead, they have only one or two children with difficulty, just to leave them wealth and raise them in luxury.
This evil grew rapidly, and we did not notice. For when there are only one or two children, and one is lost to war and the other to illness, it is obvious that the cities will inevitably become deserted, just as a beehive weakens little by little, so too do cities that lack population become unable to survive."

The similarities after 2,200 years.
The demographic issue has been a problem several times throughout history, and none of those times was it due to the economy, but rather a result of prosperity, comfortable living, and laziness. My Greek grandparents had children even when they had nothing to eat, and the kids grew up barefoot, eating bread with olives and feta cheese. Money was never an obstacle.
Nowadays, people prefer partying, doing drugs, and living for today rather than having a purpose, building a family, and leaving a positive footprint in this world. They choose the easy life. It’s sad watching people who passionately want to have kids but can’t, compared to people who don’t want kids because it would take them out of their comfort zone, because a child would stop them from going to clubs, drinking, and partying like a meaningless person.

Ever heard traditional Gaelic Irish music sung by an a cappella group like this?
This is Ceann Dubh Dilis (My Sweet, Dark-Haired Love), arranged by Michael McGlynn and performed by Spokanki.
This Aramaic hymn gives me chills every time I hear it.
"Tell me O Church, where shall I build you?"
It makes me think of The Church of The East missionaries that history has forgotten.
The men who took the Church as far as China & Japan with no backers.
There are even Church of The East heritage sites in places like Kharg Island & across the Persian Gulf.
Up until the 13th century when the Mongols began converting to Islam, The Church of The East was the largest missionary force in the world.
With no state backing (and in spite of persecutions), this Apostolic Church converted the many nations inside Persia, Central Asia, India & East Asia.
This hymn inspires us to think about what is possible today.
How can we leverage technology to bring our Apostolic faith to the world?
While teetering on extinction due to the exodus of its people from its Mesopotamian heartland, can The Church of The East be reborn anew?
Can its flock live up to the standard set by their ancestors to play a role in re-evangelizing the world?

Norman Borlaug.
He didn't sit in an air-conditioned laboratory.
He spent 20 years on his knees in the scorching Mexican dirt, cross-breeding thousands of wheat strains by hand.
Academics mocked him. Bureaucrats tried to cut his funding.
He didn't care.
He engineered a miracle disease-resistant semi-dwarf wheat that tripled harvest yields.
He personally shipped the seeds to India and Pakistan during wartime, planting them in the dirt alongside local farmers.
The famine never happened.
Norman Borlaug is credited with saving over ONE BILLION human lives.
He never fired a weapon.
He carried wheat and American grit.
The greatest humanitarian in human history. 🇺🇸🌾👑
ladies, if youre trying to get pregnant, give yourself 60 days first and prepare like an athlete:
1. 100% cotton underwear only. polyester underwear tanks progesterone
2. cut the cosmetics. women take in 168 chemicals a day from
makeup, hair care and skin care, all linked to hormone issues
and infertility
3. throw out every fragrance in the house. 500+ synthetic
chemicals that wreck your hormones
4. eat carbs. 150-300g a day. under that and your thyroid is
probably tanked
5. steak, liver, oysters, egg yolks, raw milk. especially liver. non-negotiable
6. honey every day. the honeymoon is literally named after
eating honey for fertility
7. sunlight on your skin first thing in the morning
8. no seed oils
9. get the plastic off your body. polyester clothes, plastic
bottles, dental floss coated in BPA
10. daily pomegranate juice, shown to balance hormones and improve PCOS.
11. high k2 cheeses
12. raw carrot daily, excretes excess estrogen
13. lower stress. meditate daily. slow down. cycle sync your training. stop skipping breakfast. definitely dont cold plunge.
14. quit your job, disappear to the woods
15. make him do it too. your placenta is built from his genes
and sperm takes 90 days to mature
train for pregnancy like youre an athlete.
My brother was concerned to learn his wife was a Lindsay Clancy supporter.
He asked her why, and when she would give her reasoning he said “let’s ask AI” and told it to validate the statements with source material.
3 statements in she realized her algorithm had fed her a bunch of garbage and she was wrong.
He’s now used this method with a number of Clancy supporters, they’re embarrassed to discover they’ve been manipulated by their feed.
Instead of telling people they’re wrong, we all would benefit by politely helping others discover truth on their own, so the next time they’re told something ridiculous they make an effort to verify the claims.
This life, according to St Gregory Palamas, is a place meant for repentance. We got caught up in trying to keep the decaying husks of this world not realizing we have 1 job here, to repent.
Nothing else matters.
Look around you. Every person will die, every thing will break, everything that satisfies will not quench death.
Stop putting your hope in future wives, better jobs, money, success and learn to turn to Christ.
