@ByMMonreal I saw most of Bryce's at bats in spring training and that was something that was very evident in his plate appearances. He was striking out too much, but he wasn't chasing. I beleived he was going to take the same path as Posey... a May call up and show be belongs. #SFGiants
@ABartholomew_05 I completely agree with you. This fan base often bases their thoughts and wants based on the performance and need as a team. This current owner's group has clearly shown it is a business decision 1st and the need to win secondary. #SFGiants
I did see a transaction note from the Sac River Cats. Reggie Crawford was sent to the ASL for a rehab assignment.
After hitting an HR yesterday, it will be interesting to see if he hits only. Definitely under the radar. #SFGiants
@MarofMomin@BaseballJeff1 I did see a transaction note from the Sac River Cats. Reggie Crawford was sent to the ASL for a rehab assignment.

@gggiants I believe I saw him in every game this spring in AZ. He was struggling and striking out way too much. He needed that time at Sac.
Eldridge is taking the exact same path as Posey. A May call up and now on his way to ROY discussions. #SFGiants
@ABartholomew_05 I agree. For a team that is struggling with capable starters, why would they trade such a productive starter that still has two+ years of a favorable contract left.
Unless someone was to really overpay, I can't imagine him going anywhere
@NorCalSportsNW I believe you are assuming he was being completely forthcoming. Listening to the rest of the interview, his answers were very calculated and protective of both Vitello and Winn.
Knowing Webb as we do, I believe he was more than willing to take the 9th. #SFGiants
@ButcherBoy415@matt_deuce I agree... and why Eldridge has been so impressive in his small sample size recently. He is patient and adjusts to the situational moment.
Watching Eldridge and then Devers...now which one is the veteran? #SFGiants
@NinerNick_22 I agree with the thought of getting value for Arraez, if they don't see him as a possible extension and long term solution at 2nd base.
Gausman was a uniquely different situation in 2021. The Giants were serious playoff contenders. I agree, him just walking really hurt #SFGiants
@ByMMonreal I agree. Split the time with Devers.
Or is it they are worried about Devers ego potentially? It certainly isnt because of his defensive prowess at 1st. It appears average at best.
Eldridge is giving the best at bats currently...it is his time to be in the field too. #SFGiants
@pepperjakcheese You are assuming the leak is coming from the Giants side of the discussion. It is very common for the agents to leak information they deem may be beneficial for there client.
@GarlicFryRy I agreeβ¦doesnβt make sense. Play him or send him back so he can get the needed reps at this stage of his development. Schmitt, Devers, Eldridge carousel not working
@giantssfcentral I suspect that decision is based on all the innings the relievers have pitched the last two games.
Porter will go down when Susac comes back
@BaseballJeff1@FAorthopod It makes no sense, especially with the right handler starting for the Dodgers. Play him or send him back to get the reps he needs at this stage of his development. Something has to be sorted out with Schmitt, Devers and Eldridge. They all need to be in the lineup
@amramsfan1@BaseballJeff1 Very interested to see how Dakota Jordan progresses. I have seen him in a few games with Eugene this year and he is very talented.
@SonsofJohnnieLe The turnover has been quite surprising. Only one player on the roster from the 2021 team, Logan Webb. The longest tenured player on the current roster. #SFGiants
@PatMurp24030920@Tr1plesAlley I completely agree with this assessment of the majority owners. Owning an MLB team has proven to be a very high return business. These owners are business first, with the interest in winning mostly driven by profitability and the increase of value of the franchise. #SFGiants
@ByMMonreal I agree with you. I too have seen the supposition and theories of how he could fall to #4. Itβs not going to happen. He will be the first player picked
@ByMMonreal I donβt believe this is any inside information from the Giants. It is just pure conjecture from Nightengale. I think We all could make the assumption that the Giants front office would now like to move one or maybe even all of those contracts
