@gggiants I believe I saw him in every game this spring in AZ. He was struggling and striking out way too much. He needed that time at Sac.
Eldridge is taking the exact same path as Posey. A May call up and now on his way to ROY discussions. #SFGiants

@ABartholomew_05 I agree. For a team that is struggling with capable starters, why would they trade such a productive starter that still has two+ years of a favorable contract left.
Unless someone was to really overpay, I can't imagine him going anywhere

@NorCalSportsNW I believe you are assuming he was being completely forthcoming. Listening to the rest of the interview, his answers were very calculated and protective of both Vitello and Winn.
Knowing Webb as we do, I believe he was more than willing to take the 9th. #SFGiants

Gausman was a uniquely different situation in 2021. The Giants were serious playoff contenders. I agree, him just walking really hurt #SFGiants

Or is it they are worried about Devers ego potentially? It certainly isnt because of his defensive prowess at 1st. It appears average at best.
Eldridge is giving the best at bats currently...it is his time to be in the field too. #SFGiants

@BaseballJeff1 @FAorthopod It makes no sense, especially with the right handler starting for the Dodgers. Play him or send him back to get the reps he needs at this stage of his development. Something has to be sorted out with Schmitt, Devers and Eldridge. They all need to be in the lineup

These owners are business first, with the interest in winning mostly driven by profitability and the increase of value of the franchise. #SFGiants

@ByMMonreal I don’t believe this is any inside information from the Giants. It is just pure conjecture from Nightengale. I think We all could make the assumption that the Giants front office would now like to move one or maybe even all of those contracts
