Karmelo Anthony was a punk with a chip on his shoulder.

He sat where he wasn’t supposed to. And when asked to leave - 15 times, according to witnesses - he threatened to fight anyone and everyone.

Then he pulled out a knife and killed Austin Metcalf.

Keep in mind, if Karmelo had plead guilty early on, it would have cut the fundraiser short. His parents chose to send him to trial so they could keep raking in the cash. They don’t love or care about him. Awful people who inevitably raised an awful son. My only regret is that they can’t be thrown in a prison cell along with him.

So… we’re expected to believe that in California, out of three candidates, the third place candidate, who conceded her campaign because she was mathematically eliminated from the run-off, suddenly received tens of thousands of votes from mail-in votes which all came in *after* Election Day, while the other two candidates received no late mail-in votes, and the second place candidate (who was surging as a Republican candidate in the bluest state in the country) is now in third place and mathematically eliminated from the run-off.

… and we’re supposed to trust that this is an honest and true election.

If you’re not angry about this, you need to be.

The murder trial of Karmelo Anthony is now entering its final stage. After four days of testimony, both the prosecution and defense have rested their cases, and closing arguments are scheduled for Tuesday.
Anthony is charged in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a confrontation at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, in April 2025.
Prosecutors argue the stabbing was an unjustified attack following a dispute under a team tent, while the defense maintains Anthony acted in self-defense after feeling threatened and after physical contact was made.
One of the final witnesses, a teammate called by the defense, testified that Anthony was distraught after the incident and repeatedly said, “I told him not to touch me.” Anthony did not testify in his own defense. The case will soon be in the hands of the jury, which could begin deliberations after closing arguments. Link to article in comments.
